Once I saw Aina on the left and Osayi on the right again, I just became cold. I was never comfortable all through the match.
Make we talk true...Chelle's tactics so far aren't too different from previous Eagles coaches....previous coaches have had the problem of not playing to the strength of our players...... Bruno has been good at LB, why not leave him there and let Aina do his thing at RB? Again, after Osimhen was subbed off, he should have been replaced by a midfielder or defender rather than another striker...
I no dey feel the man like some others....

Even before the shot, his misplaced passes time and again were pissing me off. There was one in the first half in particular that got me really angry.
There was one in the second half that was ridiculous. cheesy

Ndidi should sit and reduce exposing the defence. He should also just keep his passing simple and scan more to make quick decisions.

This boys don't have any feeling of ice in them.
They don't know how to turn up when you expect them. The have a weak mentality when it comes to eagles matter.

I see why Rohr called them bunch of averageee...and even after all this games, Rohr's team still tops them.

What nonsense is this. What sort of performance is this. What a shameful display..
Winners don't play like this.
Lions don't hunt like this.

Every coach has come and failed with them.

The ones that don't fail with them are the defensive playing coaches. The most successful being Pesiero and Rohr.

I see why Rohr was cautious about them. It's all in their heads.

Sadly we have a better away record than home. There is so many things wrong with them.

I was not particularly impressed with lookman who seemed to play for goal. He forgets that sacrifice is the real substance. The spotlight don't have to be on you always. It's all about the team.

do you still see Nigeria at the World Cup next year

I don't but it is not over until it is over.

What is more important is for us to keep improving in our play. Chelle's tactics will need time to sink in. However, there are signs of improvement.

How can you have the best right back in the EPL and you decide to play him as a left back twice. It's unpardonable. Is Bruno that bad?

The entire right hand side of our attack was flat. Aina, Lookman, Iwobi, Simon, all of them concentrated on the left hand side of attack.

His tactics was just horrible.

In short going
Forward
Osimhen should be involved in the listing of players on merit
This thing will hurt him badly
All his hardwork has gone to the mud
Remove Ndidi from Vice Captain & make Osimhen Vice Captain

Rewatching the goal, i expected Ndidi to tail the scorer before facing Ekong.

He has shown enough to earn his plaudits. Osimhen and Lookman are Nigeria's biggest guns with Osimhen obviously leading the way.

Lookman showed enough on the pitch vs Rwanda. Same game that made most of us believe in a WC dream again.

Samueltemi337:
Lookman didn't play anything in this match
If he is deserving of a WC then he should show it on the pitch

I don't understand the thinking of this coaches. Use players in their natural positions. All this woke football, I no dey. At least 5 players were played out of position.

I remember elyte89 often said that Ndidi has hardly impressed in a super Eagles shirt...that was when the guy was at his peak o....
Now he is past his peak and injury prone....
In all honesty,he shouldn't be starting games for us anymore...more importantly, in a 2 man midfield, he shouldn't be starting ahead of Onyedika, Onyeka and Alhassan....

Nwabali was off today. Two howlers and two nearly goals
As I said, I joined from the 60th minute. Missed those. But I think he was fast off the line for the last goal. Even though I would have preferred he held his line. It was a fine finish.

Logically speaking we need to start prepping for Afcon in December and also design a plan on how to qualify for the 2030 World Cup. I don’t see this guys beating South Africa away

When I saw Chelle stick to Osayi at LB, I was not pleased and I was not feeling good somewhat. Aina may be ambipedal, yes... but he is most effective as a RB all day!!!

Chelle made his point with Osayi as RB vs Rwanda but repeating such for Zimbabwe tells me he may have tactical personnel stiffness tendencies.

Bruno is a better LB than Osayi yet Chellechukwu did what he did.

I agree with you on the out of position thing. Not just that, the tactical demands. Like Simon playing up top with Osimhen but needs to drift wide during build up. Iwobi has to drop deep during build up and still needs to push to the wings during build up.

When Simon drifts wife, Lookman will need t push forward to support the attack.

However, I feel these tactical demands will improve our play in the long run. Chelle just started with them. I hope he can get them in sync fast.

never rated that guy to be sincere. Take away Osimhen as We will tie or lose all our games.
NFF is a very corrupt body
They enlist some players on the basis of nepotism
How can Yusuf be called up
Guy in the first game gave away a free kick in a dangerous spot
Similar position to Lookmans free kick assist
The blame should 100% go to NFF chairman
Okocha blasted them months ago for not being transparent with everything
South Africa has left us behind
I pray our girls win the next WAFCON because South Africa may win it again

Even Osimhen have suffered a bad game in the NT. He was there when we fell to CAR in Lagos. He shone in one game and didn't show up in that one.

You are the one singling out Lookman. Lookman deserves to be at the WC as much as Osimhen.

As one who fans Osimhen big time, I won't act blind just because I want to say Osimhen is the main man. He is the main man but we also have a lookman.

So stop the lookman attack. You are not Osimhen's biggest fan in here.

We nullified their attacks repeatedly. I think blending with the tactics is what hurt us. Apart from that, I am really seeing tactical signs.
