Nope. The general Mentality is why bench an EPL player for a player playing in Belgium not to mention one playing in the MLS?

Childish analyses who don't look at what a player brings but focuses solely on "I play here and not there"

Danielnino00:
I remember elyte89 often said that Ndidi has hardly impressed in a super Eagles shirt...that was when the guy was at his peak o....
Now he is past his peak and injury prone....
In all honesty,he shouldn't be starting games for us anymore...more importantly, in a 2 man midfield, he shouldn't be starting ahead of Onyedika, Onyeka and Alhassan....

When I saw Chelle stick to Osayi at LB, I was not pleased and I was not feeling good somewhat. Aina may be ambipedal, yes... but he is most effective as a RB all day!!!

Chelle made his point with Osayi as RB vs Rwanda but repeating such for Zimbabwe tells me he may have tactical personnel stiffness tendencies.

Bruno is a better LB than Osayi yet Chellechukwu did what he did.
Chelle should have himself to blame.

Just checked FIFA regulations and it doesn't even matter whether its FIFA or CAF. FIFA has the same rule
This was for 2022 but still the same rule for 2026

na that point deduction dey give us small hope. if not, we for just kiss this WC goodbye
The point deduction can no longer be applied, as per FIFA rules. Complaints must be submitted to them within 24 hours after the game.

I feel a lot of people are wrongly castigsting ndidi. He is no more a dm but now a low quality box to box, doesn't have the defensive discipline to stay back. But all the coaches always want to shoehorn him there and he has always struggled.
Ekong for all his good attributes has always been slow and now due to age has even lost a year of pace,so you need the fullback on his side to be fast.
Chelle left osayi who everyone saw was exhausted and probably not even fit from the injury of the last match and kept till the end of the game even when he was subpar the whole game.

Sometimes I wonder if there's a curse on super eagles coaches that make them act brain dead. Even regular Fm or fifa players can see the glaring gaps and actions that need to be taken but they never do that. From rohr not substituting against Argentina in 2018 world up to finidi playing osayi as a lb to this Chelle. It's ridiculous

Rip the big boss Stephen keshi. Even with all the odds stacked against him. He won the nations cup and qualified for the World Cup with a majority home based team. Guys until we go back to the drawing board we may not even qualify for the 2030 World Cup

You sure this our boys want to be at the World Cup . Miss our old generation of players. These guys can’t even come from a goal down to
Tie the game let alone win it
They don't want to be at the world cup.
They don't deserve it

Even if they wait for them to deduct a whooping 6 (six) points from south African. They don't deserve it.

You wake up in the morning to hear south Africa will be deducted points, and you start playing freaking rubbish to us. What do we enjoy about this goddam country than football. And this bunch of averageee can't turn up for their nations. Let them go to hell. If they have to field our hungry local home based boys with Osimhen as a point man they will easily beat this teams. But no way. This boys aren't hungry. They are just okay.

Logically speaking we need to start prepping for Afcon in December and also design a plan on how to qualify for the 2030 World Cup. I don’t see this guys beating South Africa away
See we can
Invite our best legs
100% merit
Even if Ekong has to sit on the bench because South African forwards are pacy
Invite Uche & Onyeka too
We need just 3 strikers not 4
We can beat South Africa if our people do things right
100% merit based
They will call for NFF chairman’s head now lol
He’s solely to blame
Rubbish cabal that does things on the basis of nepotism
This thing really hurts Nigerians o
The coach didn’t make subs, we lost the game due to fatigue after struggling to get a goal
I mean so Bruno couldn’t be involved in this game at all
Wow

Even Osimhen have suffered a bad game in the NT. He was there when we fell to CAR in Lagos. He shone in one game and didn't show up in that one.

You are the one singling out Lookman. Lookman deserves to be at the WC as much as Osimhen.

As one who fans Osimhen big time, I won't act blind just because I want to say Osimhen is the main man. He is the main man but we also have a lookman.

So stop the lookman attack. You are not Osimhen's biggest fan in here.
I am not attacking Lookman
And we shouldn't praise him either
You singled Lookman and Osimhen saying they are more deserving
If you are more deserving then show it on the pitch
Simple
Lookman has played all the qualifiers match and only had a good game against Rwanda
Someone you said is deserving
If Osimhen had a bad game I will come here and say it too
Stop trying to paint things

Rewatching the goal, i expected Ndidi to tail the scorer before facing Ekong.
It is actually the pre assist I am actually talking about. If you watch the video, you will see where one person failed to do his job. To me, that was what caused it.

Look, enough of the excessive Osimhen fandom while rubbishing others.

I will be so gutted if the coach doesn't bring in Bruno, take out Osayi and switch Aina to the right. Osayi has been so poor. You can't have the current best RWB in EPL languishing on the left.
The coach must be quite redundant not to have figured this out. I wonder why he kept the same line up .

Osimhen shouldn't be the only one scoring goals. If Osimhen wasn't in this game, Zimbabwe would have won us.
