Is anybody still reading Awake this days?

It's been long those JW came around to give me the magazine

And I am also aware that they have cut down the number of publications of Awake they do in a year

Last time I checked, I think they were doing four publications per year

I remember back then when they were publishing like two editions every month!

I really enjoyed Awake magazines

So informative!
I'm telling you awake was my internet before internet became mainstream I preferred it to watchtower

Yet, the police can not see beyond their nose as politicians use them to further oppress those that are fighting for their freedom and better condition of living

Nigeria still has one of the cheapest rent rates in the world.....Imagine paying less than $400 a year for a self contain or flat. I know some of you would say well what's minimum wage yen yen yen but that's old skool way of looking at things, the job market is now global and even mediocre people dey earn in dollars now.

In one month on Fiverr, you can make minimum $500 if you're lazy not to talk of those who are fortunate to secure a job that pays them in dollars or those hardworking genius with multiple skills, those ones can earn over 2000 USD per month, na mumu still dey wait on Nigerian job market, MUMU..... As with all things, live within your means, no do pass yourself......Aseju ni LAMBO grin grin grin

Having a great or multiple source of income is so crucial! For example, with a good source of income, you can apply for a mortgage and secure a homeownership with ease. You don't have to worry about Landlord Palava.

capitalism is an equal opportunity betrayal system, people on his type of salary arent supposed to be having children. Those who said people like him should not have kids are same people he his putting his life on the line for.

Next time bill gates is in Nigeria to give tinubulation more genocidal orders , its people like this police man that will be dignitary protection force, protecting the people who are working hard to ensure you have no future.

You need to drop that devils rifle , and go learn a useful skill like everybody else. Go learn a skill where you can contribute to society, rather than being an instrument used to terrorise society.

youre better off dead , than being the devils enforcer, cause at least you will still have a soul.

If you are an employee... Your employer can cage you not to have anything to your name.

My advice is before looking for work, set up a business then fund your business with your salary if you eventually find a work.

You are paying ordinary 200k annually and you are weeping. Just imagine.
200k for 12 months.
You Guys have paradise in your hands.
That rent obviously isn't in a place like Lagos. Maybe in northern states. And it won't be more than one bedroom flat.

And even at that. His salary still wouldn't be enough, cos as a junior police office, his monthly pay isn't up to 200k, then he has kids whose school fees he has to pay, then feeding and other household responsibilities.

The problem with the policemen is that when the masses come out to protest against bad governance, they'll shoot live bullets at them. Whereras most of them are living in worse conditions than the people they're preventing from protesting.

Annual rent ke?..
That 200k is what some people pay per month to stay in small serviced apartments.
It's not even possible because single rooms for students and corpers cost between 500k - 750k depending on location.
not everyone lives in Lagos.

But only your one month salary can cover that. Abi they don’t receive up to #200k a month?
For where, as at the last pay increase, a sergeant was earning around 100k - except the individual lied to me sha.

As for people saying the rent was too low, it depends on the apartment. That amount can still pay yearly rent for a room self in Ikorodu (maybe even room and parlour self in some inner parts with some luck), excluding agreement and commission fees though.
