if I write this same comment as yours they will call me a conspiracy theorist...

Eguavoen or a group of people in the NFF keep writing the same list of players without any young new additions to the list.

without Ndidi the SE made it to the Final of the AFCON.. so why is Ndidi still given a starting shirt just because he plays in the EPL..

its because of things like this I was not happy about Onyeka moving to Germany because I know the NFF won't invite him anymore..

both Orban and Ejuke can play Chukwueze's wing and Chuks needs someone to bench him in that wing.

In the next international friendlies window, it is still the same list of players they will invite again.
Don't be surprised to see Iheanacho, Musa and 5 Nigerian league players in the list for the friendlies, 7 points after 6 games for the Almighty Super Eagles.

Taminu they kept forcing into the team is currently in division 3 reserves, now it's Papa Daniel that failed trials in Czech Republic they plan to sell.

Please stop this, abeg don’t bring Eguavoen or nff into this, nobody can spin this. The players brought us to where we are today and if by the next game half of these players are still invited then we are not serious as a country. A game like this must have consequences and must begin from the players taking full responsibility. Our mediocre players cannot continue to hide under nff management and coaches to produce such crappy play. I will even have more respect for players who decline invites than to come and counting their legs for us.
With the way Osimhen reacted, I hope those animals in that Green & White 3 storey building will take it serious and Axe whose ever need to be axed. Including the captain if the need be.

Come to think of it…this could be a blessing in disguise guys cos from findings it shows dt the 3points will be deducted for sure and if that will happen,it means we still av d World Cup qualification in our hands

Now let’s assume dis scenario played out in a must win game against Benin 🇧🇯 in d last game for us to qualify…so many ppu will have heart attack 😀😀😀😀

So guys we re still in it …3points will be deducted from SA CONFIRMED.
If this current SA meets this current SE in South Africa,I can't see a Naija win. Watched highlights of the Benin Vs SA match, This SA team are a serious problem. How can one explain that in a WCQ with nine groups NGR isn't even second at the half way point.

Those dimwits in the NFF need to called out.

Also some of the players are mentally not as strong as they should. If Chelle gets his midfield combo right the SA game will be interesting from a neutral's perspective.

It seems Chellechukwu wants to settle for 2nd place and play the playoffs.

Chellechukwu is a good coach but I could fault some few things from him
1. Too rigid to change tactics- He refused to go defensive when Osimhen scored the first goal
2. Late substitutions- Some players like Chuks lasted too long on the pitch
3. Misplaced players like Aina
4. How come none of his assistants could advise him to go defensive when Osimhen scored. Does it means he is not accessible or what?

Going forward
Next time Onyeka and Christantus should be invited

No cohesion in the eagles

48 countries will be going to the WC and we can't even qualify!!

If only the rest of the team can show just half the passion and determination Osimhen shows, then we could do better. They just keep frustrating the guy's efforts.

For those dreaming of finishing in the top 4 2nd place teams and qualifying for the playoffs and so on...

You can dead those thoughts. As of now, 6 countries who are in 2nd place already have 12+ points. Heck, even 4 teams that are presently in 3rd place have 10 points, 10 points, 10 points and 12 points. 3rd place teams oh grin

What a shame
It is well oh

SA, ZIM, CAR, BENIN, and all the other teams that have won or drawn us, are not good enough to beat us, but over the years Nigerian Super Eagles have lost that fear factor. Nigeria has players to dominate Africa, it’s not a fluke that we produce two African best back to back, it’s not a fluke we have players breaking records for their clubs and winning things, we have one of, if not the best set of players in Africa.

But what is the issue? let’s look in-depth and forget emotions of “our players are this or that”, last Afcon, Nigeria players played only 60% of their capacity and got to the finals of the Afcon, meaning this team is underperforming overwhelmingly when it comes to qualifiers especially home games. Our F.A needs to sit up, get things rightly, stop pressuring or picking players for the coach, all this nonsense technical committee should hands off and let the coach work, we need to get a stadium in a state with the best weather all year round, and play to our home advantage, a state that has good weather, will see our players always not gassing out, we need a a lot psychological boosting for our players, we need to make Nigeria a fortress again, remind them what it means to fight till the end, and if any player is being complacent and not bringing Osimhen energy from the first blast, scrap him out, when you wear the national team jersey you are a soldier carrying the smiles and hope of 200 million people, let them play their heart out and loose, one day we will get right, but I don’t see a Nigeria team with their head in the game fighting and playing like warriors loosing to any bloody team in Africa, talk less of this little team, this issue is whole-sum and we need to get the players working, no amount lamentations will solve it, but practical approach.

Let’s see this boys fight till the last minute, and play to their strengths, let me see which South Africa will escape.

Baba is dat not madness. C en, dat people in d glass house are imbecilic imbeciles meant only for pit toilet of human cesspit
i know men at the glass house are clowns, but meehn our loss yesterday was 95% our boys….if to say Iwobi score that goal he missed inside box, or chukwueze score that him own, or Ndidi score that sweet pass moses gave him in the box, or lookman scored one of those solo runs he was trying to force, we for no even remember say we get NFF…for God saka na same NFF dey der wen we beat rwanda 2-0 na….must osimhen score two goals for our midfield guys and defender to remember their jobs…like omo those guys were careless….NFF officials and so many many dignitaries (peter obi) came to cheer them on and hope they give us something to smile about…:boom them remove osimhen boom the remaining ones turn to eba….omo our loss is hugely on these our guys jare…dey dont have that radical fighting spirit ajeh

We can bro, it’s just tactics. The Super Eagles have a fragile loophole which is the fact that we don’t have a goalkeeper that can make “a few good saves” everything else is fine that was why Peseiro played negative football to shield the goalkeeper as much as possible, Nwabali is quite bellow average even in African standards but masks it with his theaterics and faux confidence which spectacle loving Nigerian fans can’t see through. The fact that we missed so many chances yesterday is unavoidable in life and will always happen once in a while, it is important to always have a robust last line to prevent a black swan event such as the Zimbabwean equalizer yesterday. The playoffs is looking more like our reality day by day but we’ll be worse off there if we don’t find a good GK due to it’s volatile and unpredictable nature as only robust/antifragile teams make it through not the better team. I really think Chelle and NFF should manhunt for a new GK in Europe like Atobolu and the rest.

We can blame the coach for all we can but conceding in the 90th minute is unforgivable by any standard and the fact that this has happened under different coaches shows we have a bigger problem. I was never sold on Chelle cos I felt we could let Finidi go why Chelle especially when we saw what he did at Afcon but we were all enthusiastic because we saw him as an attacking minded coach which is what most Nigerians want to see all the time.
The coach stays but he needs to make his team more competitive. Like I said yesterday, Bankole and Amas won't give Nwabali a good fight, he needs to invite Okoye, even if it's just for the bench role. Uche and Onyeka will give Ndidi good competition, unlike Aribo. Moses offered nothing yesterday, yet Chukwueze, who was his competitor in AFCON, was also on the field with him.
FIFA gave Africa more slots in both the senior and U17 categories, but Nigeria missing out to qualify. This shows that something is wrong with our football.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 1:49pm On Mar 26, 2025
This losses and draws are psychological, and this team does not know how to win in front of their fans, they play with less pressure away and do better. We must tackle this issue going forward. I don’t feel it’s about tactics or players, and if NFF doesn’t realize this, 10 years from now, we will still struggle even if we have world best on our team with pep as our coach.

This is too early bruv, though I felt he committed too many men forward especially in the first half as a better opposition in counter attack would have hurt us. This a coach with an attacking philosophy which is what most Nigerians want, defensively he may not be top notch and that’s where our experienced players should come in to help the team.
Balance is key oo.
