I beg to differ. Section 357 of the Criminal Code is not at all vague in regard to this issue. Nigeria does not have a lot of lawyers bold enough and willing to go against the grain on these sorts of issues is the reason why it seems the Law is not on the side of the victim.

But it's not a loophole, though. Like I said, It takes an intelligent lawyer to argue it. Unfortunately, most lawyers aren't willing to stand up for what is right but rather what works. Take a close look again at the content of section 6 of 357 below.
