elyte89:If they get a 3 point deduction and we still end up not doing our part it will be worse, the players and the coaches should take their mind off this at the moment and leave it to our administrators and FIFA to deal with it. The 4 remaining games is what the team should prioritize and focus on |

With the next major duels coming up the next 6months, let's hope Eric Chelle will take his time out to MONITOR, SCOUT & re-strategize his plans on players he will use to execute his tactics come September. 6months is alot of time to get your plans right. No excuse! I also hope they will have 1or2 FIFA breaks for friendlies. Bare injuries, let's hope Osimhen will be on his best form. That's our only match maker. Winning our 4 remaning matches means we will be on the same point with SA(bar goal difference). We need to win the remaining matches and score lots of goals. |

BankyGee:I don't think there has ever been a match we didn't create enough chances to win comfortably throughout this campaign. Even under finidi I'm sure we created enough chances to win those matches. It's more annoying that osimhen is our highest goal scorer despite the fact that he has only played 2 out of 6 games. Our problem is not the defense, formation, chance creation or midfield combination. It's how to freaking put the ball inside the net. Sometimes I can't believe how we much chances we miss in these matches. |

Amedino99:This is why I said our national team still needs ighalo. He is the one who has the ability to convert chances. He is nit nervous like the other players and his experience counts a lot. This is not about living in the past or not giving young players a chance. Ihmghalo has the nerve to convert these chances our forwards keep missing. He can come in as a sub and score. His finishing is still needed. I have said my own |

Some questions; Is Nigeria so poor dat a 100k per month dollar coach is out of reach of NFF? Is Nigeria so poor dat our conference centre must look like all dis mushroom schools and Rwanda a country- some few decade ago ravaged by ethnic cleansing- can afford a world class conference center? Is Nigeria too poor to woo all dose foreign born to play for us or what is d work of d technical department? How many officials follow dem to Rwanda and what is their prerogative in and their importance to d team in Rwanda I won't blame d players but NFF whose lackadaisical and dilly-dallying attitude has put us to where we are. Is Nigeria so poor dat we can only get one fifa approve stadium? An adage says when d head is rotten d whole body is spoil, so I put it to NFF in d next one year what is their contingency plan? Are d players motivated enough or dey been owe their match bonuses? What is d work of d presidential task force? I CRY FOR MY COUNTRY because dey have destroy d only unifying factor😭. Ègbé ni fún NFF. |

I won't completely give up yet even though that world cup hope is fast diminishing to a wishful dream. There's still a good chance FIFA will nick off 3 points from South Africa which will bring them down to 10 pts with them just 3 points ahead of us, but we will now have to win all our 4 games and go for it ruthlessly, the players must be ready to die on that pitch and make up for all the unacceptable disappointments they've subjected us to. It's 6 months to the last round of games, and I'm aware Nigeria was invited to a 4 nation tournament hosted by England in this June friendly window, we are even facing Ghana. That tournament should definitely serve as the perfect foundation for Chelle to now invite HIS OWN SCOUTED players, and NFF shouldn't dare interfere in his team selections going forward, otherwise ogun go kpai all their family members. Enough is enough, let the coach and his backroom staff now use the European season to thoroughly scout for eligible Nigerian players doing well...the fringe players who are knocking on the door of first team football like Christiantus Uche, Ejuke, Gift Orban, Nathan Tella, Akor Adams, Akinsanmiro, Ojediran, Felix Agu, Anthony Dennis, Jordan Torunarigha, Igoh Ogbu, Daniel Daga, Chuba Akpom, Cyriel Dessers must now all be invited for that 4 nation tournament. We also need to see more of Tolu Arokodare cause I like what he offered in that Zimbabwe game- then a few mainstay regulars like Osimhen, (if he will be available and hopefully not injured), Onyeka, Onyedika, Bruno Onyemaechi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Calvin Bassey, Maduka Okoye to test new ideas with experience...Enough of Chukwueze, Ndidi, Simon Moses, Ekong and Iwobi etc; we've seen it all with these players and half of them need to be phased out at this point. Lastly, Osimhen has to be made Captain of the team, Ekong has tried but he's just not that guy anymore, father time has come for him. We need to go into those September games with all our BEST PLAYERS, not the Ndidi, Aribo, Chukwueze and Ekong story anymore, those ones can respectfully stay on the bench and provide experience from there. Let the young bloods led by Osimhen go to war against Rwanda and South Africa, that will be a game of guts, youth and glory and not old and tired legs. |

Meliforme:How many coach will super eagle change 🤦🏾♂️ so we need Guradiola or ancelloti to beat Zimbabwe at home? I am confident none of those Zimbabwe players are playing in any top 20 leagues in the world so how is Chelle the excuse Sometimes we should look inwards to the players |

Former Nigeria Coach Bonfrère Jo After Super Eagles draw against Zimbabwe: “How do you expect to qualify for the World Cup if you don’t win games?” he questioned. He continued, “In the past, if we didn’t beat Zimbabwe 3-0 or 4-0, the fans would throw stones at us. “With the huge number of Super Eagles players in top European leagues, a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe is unacceptable. I don’t see how they can qualify for the World Cup, except maybe through the play-offs. “If that happens, good. But it’s embarrassing that the Super Eagles are struggling against teams they should be beating convincingly.” When asked what could be have gone wrong in game: He said, “I didn’t watch the match, but did the coach not have enough information on Zimbabwe? Did he use the wrong tactics? Or did the players fail to execute the game plan? “Was it a loss of concentration? Why couldn’t the attackers score more goals? If they had put away two or three chances, Zimbabwe’s late goal wouldn’t have mattered as much. “It’s sad, painful, and unfortunate. Small teams are now looking the Super Eagles in the eye and asking, ‘What can you do?’ No team fears them anymore, and that is worrying,” Bonfrère Jo lamented. (Via CompleteSports) |

GMBOFASIA:We have the players that can beat any African team. In Africa we should be dominating. We have the players. Ekong has a commanding personality, but he is error prone, players have their strengths and weaknesses, if we are to continue his services, then tactics and personnel both in defence and midfield should be tweaked. Our coach did let us down. He made mistakes that were costly |

Goke7:Yes, those one on one and open net chances. It is the duty of the coach to select his players, and to drill them according to his tactics. Chelle failed to beat Zimbabwe. |

BankyGee:Guy you finish work, Lookman should be talked to or dropped if he can’t work with his fellow strikers, he even shined in Afcon through an assist from osihmen. At least let’s get one or two goals before you begin to go solo, it’s looking as if because osihmen got two goals in Rwanda he wanted to get on the score sheet by all means in uyo. One shot he had in the first half should have been a cross to osihmen. I like Lookman but he needs some talking to by the coaches. I feel it’s the reason Boniface is also struggling in that set up. When I said some time ago that Boniface and Lookman should lock up themselves in a room and talk I was mocked here. Thank you for the article especially for those who keep blaming the coach and nff for clear and begging chances that were missed in the game. The Zimbabweans were on the platter for real slaughter but our players messed everyone up. Nonsense! |

MetalJigsaw:Nigeria has participated in a 2 - 4 nations tourney before just like the Mandela challenge cup. This tournament consist of Nigeria, Jamaica, Ghana and England. The winners may be going home with a trophy I think. It's in June, let's keep our fingers crossed. It's a perfect tournament for Eric Chelle to get fresh legs for the team. |

FIFA will deduct 3points from SA. This may likely happen in 2-3months time. It's left for una riffraff players & officials to buckle up. This is the last opportunity they are getting. Nobody saw this coming but blessings all come in disguise. |
