I put that defeat on Chelle. He cost us this game. Playing Aina as LB and Chukwueze in right midfield was a big error. It created serious imbalance.
Chelle invited four wingers and fielded them all at once.

Who is to blame, if you failed to notice that he created more chances than any midfielder in 2019 AFCON tourney despite getting less in play time.
To start with he didn't play at the 2019 Afcon, he was at the 2021 Afcon where he only played 3 games.

His ability to create chances is only reserved for the SE, he magically avoids creating chances at Barnsley, Chaves and Ponferradina. I'm glad you are not SE coach.

Yes it was 2021. Forgive the slip.
Below is Kelechi Nwakali's passing stats at Chaves, as a DM/CM

There was a time he was averaging 2.0 key passes per game.

It is just like saying, leave Super Eagles matter, it is spent.

I will say this with every insight that i have gathered from my studies of the Super Eagles team:.
Kelechi Nwakali is needed more than Eberechi Eze in the Super Eagles. He is more important.
Believe it or not believe it.
Okey I believe. Wetin change 🤷🤷?

I'm seeing something about the 4-nations tournament which will be hosted by England and will feature Ghana, Jamaica and Nigeria.
not sure about the validity of this tournament. England has atleast 2 matches confirmed for June. a world cup qualifier against Andorra June 7and a Senegal friendly in June 10. Add the club world cup where Jude, Kane, foden, grealish, palmer would have to attend in the same June. Let's wait and see sha

Terrible. In the first match when Osayi was subbed, guess who was slotted at RB? Yusuf! Can you imagine. When naturally Osayi should come in for Aina. I really wish I can understand his thinking. Is Bruno that bad at LB?

I doubt Chelle is a good tactician oo. I doubt it. To do the same dumb thing twice in such high stake matches? Mbanu especially with almost three months of preparation? Something is wrong oo

With the next major duels coming up the next 6months, let's hope Eric Chelle will take his time out to MONITOR, SCOUT & re-strategize his plans on players he will use to execute his tactics come September.
6months is alot of time to get your plans right. No excuse!
I also hope they will have 1or2 FIFA breaks for friendlies.
Bare injuries, let's hope Osimhen will be on his best form. That's our only match maker.
Winning our 4 remaning matches means we will be on the same point with SA(bar goal difference). We need to win the remaining matches and score lots of goals.
What do you mean by "we will be on same points with SA"? Are SA not going to play their own matches?

Don't worry, guys from Mamelodi Sundowns will whip your guys from the EPL, if you don't provide the right complement of players and the right tactical minds.

Can you explain why we lack creative midfielders even to date.
We don't have a profile like Nwakali.
Raphael Onyedika is arguably the best when it comes to the game of making passes of the ball, but he is still not better than Kelechi Nwakali, neither is he more creative.
Then why is Nwakali constantly languishing in tiny clubs? why??

With all these key passes and long balls Chaves still got relegated and he could only end up in division 3, same with Ponferadina the season before that and Huesca from La Liga

At almost 27 years of age he has played less than 3 seasons as a top flight professional footballer.

We need serious individuals for the team and let him work hard to improve his game at the top level.

Don't be surprised to see Iheanacho, Musa and 5 Nigerian league players in the list for the friendlies, 7 points after 6 games for the Almighty Super Eagles.

Taminu they kept forcing into the team is currently in division 3 reserves, now it's Papa Daniel that failed trials in Czech Republic they plan to sell.
but you people want home based players na? Abi league don dey matter now?

his assumption is based on us winning all our matches which will include south Africa losing theirs against us. If their points are eventually deducted, they will be on 10 points. There are 3 matches left for all teams. If we win all our 3 matches we will be on 16 points, if south Africa wins 2 and loses the match against us, they will also be on 16 points. It will go down to goal difference. Also if the deduction also happens they will be on 0 goals difference. But that's all scenario based. All of these is just wishing.

I av never seen-though it might have happen-at that crucial moment a coach replacing a striker with another striker when you have up to three on d pitch.

The reason why so many are supporting Chelle is dat Nigeria started d WCQ so badly that after d victory against Rwanda and being d first in 5 games everyone was happy but sincerely what is d difference between Chelle, AE, Amunike or Siasia.

With all due respect Chelle is not better Dan AE, who led Nigeria to 3 place finish in 2006 and he would av qualify Nigeria for 2022 WC if not for Uzohorror, is not better Dan Siasia a silver medalist at world stage playing against d best. So people should rest when we criticize d coach is not about hatred but pedigree.

There's actually 4 matches left though. If I'm correct we've played six out of ten matches so far.

It seems no one wants to say it due to the respect we have for him, yea we appreciate Ekong for everything he has done and still doing but with him as a centre back, especially when we play 4 men at the back instead of 3, we will always concede goals.

Chelle should use this 4 team tourney in England in July to try out new combos if he must continue playing 4 men at the back. Let's see what Bassey and Igoh Ogbu combo could bring. Ekong lacks pace and if Zimbabwe had made good use of their counters the other day, they would have dusted us completely.

I feel Bassey and Ogbu could give us some kinda Fulham Bassey/Adarabioyo synergy and show.

If Ogbu is a ball playing CB but if he is not, forget the balance with Bassey, all we need is good ball playing CB to compliment dirty job of Bassey, reason why I keep on mentioning Olisa Ndah but to some he is playing in SA but Mamelodi Sundown are leading our group comfortably 😊

If we are to go by your logic, Jamie Vardy is such a bad player, he is getting relegated with Leicester.

Kelechi Nwakali should try all that he can to improve the quality around him.
Chidera Ejuke never became Europe's top dribbler until he joined Sevilla.
