What is the update on the recruitment of nurses, administrators, lab technicians, pharmacists, doctors etc to improve the ratio of healthcare workers to the population of the state?

What sensible person hails a public servant for physical infrastructure hardware without performing on the software of government workers for the hardware?

Enugu is the Akwa Ibom of South East.
Their leaders are extraordinary.

Alex Otti people how far?
Have you heard Alex Otti doing any project as this?

See Holy Ghost bus terminals, Enugu Air, International conference center, Hotel Presidential, International hospital, CNG buses etc.

You people are celebrating a man patching roads while real development is going on in other states.
By the time this first tenure finishes without any visible achievement, una eyes go open.
For two years now, his administration's only achievement is a 5.6km Port Harcourt road construction. No other project.
Don't talk about otti the man is doing exceptionally well for Abia state, Abia was a complete mess otti is rebuilding Abia especially ABA right from the foundation, Enugu has passed that stage of foundation building MBA is completing projects that were abandoned which is very good

Tinubu sent $5000 each to politicians in the NASS for Salah.

Imagine if those monies were spent on healthcare.

There are less than 100 MRI machines in Nigeria as a whole.

fuckJones:
(A case study of Nigeria citizens & their elected oppressors).

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one. The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & hapless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.

Joseph stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you". "They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?

Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? People trooping to Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation offices to collect branded One kilo bag of Rice & Noddles. Did you see the number of people of all ages who troop out to welcome Ex- convict James Ibori to South South! Do you see the number of handle mop following obi as if he is a seat? what of the one following dino malaye?

Your guess is as good as mine. Nigerians kill those they should defend and defend those they should kill! Pass to all your contacts & let your Political & Religion Leaders read, understand & digest.

The man is good in projects, no doubts but he romances with Fulani headsmen, except Nsukka people are less Enugu citizens; his predecessor ran to Abuja to cry to Buhari during his time after Fulani herdsmen massacred uncountable number of people.

Maybe you're talking out of ignorance, or you're just trying to dampen the joy of the people by casting aspersions on the obvious good trajectory of the state government. But in any case, you are failing woefully here.

The state has many many other quality health institutions that are well staffed and working properly. There is no health emergency in the state that the existing health facilities cannot cover, both private and public health institutions.

What the state government is doing is futuristic investments to cut into the very lucrative health tourism sector market from the state and other parts of the country. Am sure it was spelt out in the article exactly as I am mentioning it now, but you must sweve the discussion into the bush to make sure you pull the efforts of the state government down in your usual tribalistic nature. Pity yourself pal.

If you’re not the ignorant one here, then tell us how many healthcare workers have been employed by the governor in the last two years.

Surely that should not be difficult for a supposedly intelligent person who can write a long story like you.

If you have seen any good in the governor about the employment of healthcare workers, why are you unable to share the numbers for the past two years?

Is your failure to provide the numbers, a result of your own restlessness huh

Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?

The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

Lawmaker scores Lagos Water Corporation low

A Lagos State lawmaker, Mr Saka Fafunmi, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the state Water Corporation.

Fafunmi, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), said in Ikeja that the corporation had not been able to justify statutory allocations to it.

The lawmaker, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 at the assembly, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said that the corporation had the capacity to generate much fund internally through water rates but had relied solely on government funding because of poor performance.

'' Anyone that is using water will be willing to pay for it; the corporation has not been giving us water.

"Is there any new community that Water Corporation has given water? People depend on boreholes; even government estates have industrial boreholes.

"Why do we keep pumping money into an agency that does not give us the desired results?'' he asked.

He noted that the Adiyan Waterworks was located at Ifako-Ijaiye, where many of the residents had resorted to digging boreholes as a means of getting water.

''A lot of people are falling sick because they don't drink clean water.

''In the same compound, where you have sewage, is where you have a borehole.

''There is no way you can manage the sewage that it will not leak and pollute the water; everyone drinking such is drinking contaminated water,'' he said.

The lawmaker urged the corporation to increase water reticulation and supply to residents.
