Dear Atiku,

In 2023, I supported you. I campaigned for you with all my strength because I believed that your detribalised nature would help end the marginalisation we face in Southern Kaduna.

In 2022, I was shocked when you deleted your post condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel. At that moment, I vowed never to support you. However, my friends convinced me otherwise, arguing that it was a political move to secure core Northern votes. They reminded me of how detribalised you are. I accepted their reasoning and decided to support you, because the alternative (a Tinubu Muslim-Muslim ticket) seemed even worse for us. I knew Peter Obi could not defeat Tinubu under an unpopular party, so I chose to stick with you. I campaigned for you, and together, we delivered Kaduna to you.

Fast forward to the ongoing discussions about a coalition for 2027, I was excited. My hope was that either you or someone from the South-East would emerge victorious. I firmly believe that peace can only return to Southern Kaduna and other Christian-dominated Northern areas if a detribalised Northerner like you or a Southerner becomes president.

However, recent events have forced me to reconsider. It is unfortunate that many from the South-East only acknowledge Northern Christians as distinct from Muslims in online discussions. In reality, there is no difference. Our people, especially truck drivers, are being targeted and killed in the South-East. While I acknowledge that criminals are responsible for these acts, what horrified me the most was the recent Uromi killings in Edo State, where several Hausa individuals were gruesomely burnt alive.

The tragedy itself was horrific, but what truly broke me was the reaction from many South-Eastern social media users, justifying the killings. I literally shed tears as I read those posts. It dawned on me that we are on our own. Our saviour is certainly not in the South-East; in fact, things might become even worse for us under their leadership.

I must take this opportunity to appreciate President Tinubu, he has truly surprised me. Despite the initial concerns about the Muslim-Muslim ticket, he has shown us love. Uba Sani, too, has stood by us. May God bless them both. My only grievance with Tinubu is the economic hardship, but if Atiku chooses to align with the South-East, I will have no hesitation in switching my allegiance to Tinubu. At least, I know for certain that he does not hate us, that is a fact. He also appears to recognise the distinction between Northern Muslims and Christian Northerners. If he could favour us in his first term without worrying about re-election, it is clear that his second term would be even more beneficial for us.

I sincerely hope that you select a running mate from the South-South or South-West, someone who is truly detribalised.

I wish you the best of luck.

Imagine asking about a dead southerner when several northerners have just been killed in your backyard. The fool expect those of us with functional brain to ignore the killings of the Northerners n dwell on that of Deborah like she as two heads or more head than the northerners killed.

Foolish fools everywhere.

There's a part of his post which got my attention, it was what I focused on. I don't understand why you need to start using all this harsh words even though am not talking to you. I don't support the barbaric killing in Edo state.

@OP Don't think too high of yourself.. with the way Fulani herders and outlaws are going about killing innocent people and destroying properties all over the South and Middle Belt, no Northerner, not even Atiku can win Presidential elections in Nigeria going forward.

You Northerners will learn the hard way.

Don't forget it was President Tinubu's support that made Buhari win election to become President.. himself and Atiku had been running since like forever to no avail.

Shey you people think you are the only important ones and only Northerners lives matter in Nigeria, time shall tell.

Go and read the real life account of what happened at Uromi by an Edo man.

Those people are no hunters. Uromi has been under Hausa-Fulani kidnappers siege for over a year now and they have cried and cried to government and security agents to no avail.

Their vigilante group have mobilized and stormed their forests to dislodge the Hausa-Fulani kidnappers, next, government came and disarmed the vigilantes.

Next some group of armed Northerners were caught at same Uromi being ravaged by insecurity caused by Northerners and when confronted they made no sense and you guys are here defending nonsense.

Hunters hunting from Kano to Portharcourt to Edo, how?

If you like vote Boko Haram or ISWAP leader, who cares? At the end, you or your people or relatives suffers the outcome.

That is why they hate Igbos because only Igbo people understand their antics and are ready to confront them without trying to be politically correct to get Northern votes.

Until the rest of Southern Nigerians, especially Southsouth, massively and sincerely join force with Igbos to confront these Northern terrorists and murderers, the story will remain the same. Left for Yorubas, Northern votes is more important than the lives of their people. They are the people pampering Hausa-Fulanis and made them the vampires they are today angry

Igbos no send una, you cannot change who we are; we do not support or condone evil just because we want you to love us or support our politicians during election.

All the tribes that have produced Presidents since the end of Nigeria's civil war are not doing better than Igbos, so carry your vote waka go front yeye people that lack proper reasoning.

All the innocent farmers and villagers Fulanis have been killing and sacking from their villages, what justice have be done for them? Why are these so called Northern Hunters' lives so much important than the rest of innocent Nigerians Hausa-Fulanis have been killing and kidnapping on daily basis?

One problem we have in this country is that we don't like telling ourselves the truth. When we start telling ourselves the truth then our conversations will change drastically but as for your not voting Atiku, I believe he and his children will be very okay for generations to come, tbe only duty you owe yourself is to make sure you support and make sure a good leader eventually gets into power for the sake of your own children

You're right, all northern extremists supported it, that's why I prefer a detribalised Northerner like Atiku. I'll never support El-Rufai for President, for example. If Atiku aligns with a South Easterner again, I will switch my allegiance to President Tinubu. I don't think you read and comprehended my post.

The reason I'm banking on a Southerner is because of those Northern extremists on your screenshot. That's the major reason I campaigned against Tinubu’s Mu-Mu ticket!
ezi, all Northern extremists supported it and u want a detribalised northerner. But u couldn't say it was south Eastern extremists that justified whatever rubbish u said they justified. It's now the whole south east and therefore no south Easterner should be chosen.

Several times, Amotekun security outfit, have arrested many so called Hunters from Northern state, collected there weapons and returned back to where there coming from.

Most time, handed the criminals among to law enforcement for further action and proper profile them.

How can you be a hunter and you carry guns and weapons all around with your group travelling from one place to another 🤔
How na probably u want to go and fight at where u are going I think 🤔

She's my sister. That's why I want a detribalised person to govern. Atiku lost many supporters because he deleted his post condemning the gruesome murder. He will lose way more if he aligns with the South-East. No difference between those Northern bigots and most South-Easterners. The way they're celebrating the murder is 200 times worse than Atiku deleting that tweet.
So the one celebrating murder is bad but the one that committed the murder is good?

When Atiku deleted his tweet, you were convinced by your friends. Well done detribalised Nigerian.

For your information the only tribe in Nigeria that is constantly targeted and oppressed by this jungle of a country are the Igbos and you are not different from the rest.

The Igbos are the most oppressed tribe and so their reaction to other oppressed persons are clear, unambiguous and truthful.

I wish you good luck in Southern Kaduna without the Igbos.

What happend at Uromi is a reflection of a failed justice system in Nigeria.

If people or the security outfit believed they would get justice from the police or courts, they will have no reason to execute them themselves.

Go and sit down idiot.

Can you YAMMIRI ever do without your most superior Yoruba?
You are the most hated because you are the most fulish.

Imagine people were killed in Edo and it's your people that are going to die for it but you don't have sense. You are still here boasting nonsense. I'm begining to believe Nwazuruike when he said "ibos is the most fulish tribe in the world" I believe him he because he's a leader and elder state man in iboland.

Y'all need some real orientation.

How they always manage to throw it on Igbos is still a mystery that is so hard for me to unravel.

Uromi is 96% Muslims and they neither speak nor understand Igbo language but as they killed northerners, they are now classified as Igbos.

AND YORUBAS THAT USE TO CLASSIFY THEM AS THEIR DISTANT COUSINS ALL OF A SUDDEN WASH PILATE HANDS ON THEM AND CLAIM THEY ARE MORE RELATED TO IGBOS!

Lord have mercy on this contraption.
Classic dyslexia. Learning to read is not that easy if you have to run around hawking in traffic by day, and then sell in a 2 by 2 shop by night. So, I understand with you.

Time will tell. Nigeria, like slavery and colonialism, will only last for a time. And posterity will judge you demons in Nigeria. Nigeria will fall one day, and the Igbos will be free of you cumsacks and wicked vermins.
