Though I would say that the areas in Jos with the population clusters of Hausa or Fulani Muslims emerged as a result of squatter camps from the long gone mining era....so in other words, these settlements were meant to be a makeshift temporary instance that became a bit more than that over time--unfortunately.

The Muslims in those areas were grand children or great granchildren of people from core Northern areas so their real origins is from the Islamic Arewa and not truly Jos. No Jos or Plateau native will regard those as true indigenous people. And I doubt you have any native people from Jos being a part of that Islamic cult.

In other words....you are always safe in the right non-muslim places in Jos. The obnoxious clusters with these types of virulent plaques...needs to be flattened to dust.

True, you are right. I know these people are not indigenous to Plateau state and i am aware of efforts by some bad elements to foist these people of the indigenous people especially in Jos-North LG which some of them even claim as their ancestral homes which is ridiculous.
Personally i feel Plateau people just like the rest of the middle-belt people have been docile and timid which has emboldened this people, i think they need to put up a good fight. These Fulani herdsmen everyone is talking about due to their boldness in perpetrating evil since 2015 when Buhari came in have been attacking communities in Plateau state as far back as 2001 as i can recall with particularly deadly attacks in 2009 which targeted mostly children and women.
