Not even the motivational speakers who wey full here fit to convince me, so I no even need Ogbolo or whatever for confirmation. |

Kog45:Mikel wasn't technically gifted like the others. All he had was stability, tactical discipline, long passes and dictating play from deep. Beside he wasn't the fastest |

9JAMac10:No Oga, Nigeria football global history started in 1976 with Afcon bronze, this team qualified for 1976 Olympics games..The same team almost made it to 1978 WC with Odiye scored own goal.....the same team won Afcon 1980. 1975-1980 eagles was the first golden generation not 1990--1994 set Do you want to hear Koko.....Kodak under 17 WC gave us real breakthrough in world of football though under age and from there people began to respect name Nigeria |

charlesemeka85:I concur about this but Okocha is the biggest Nigerian soccer brand globally. Honorable mentions include Yekini, Sunday oliseh, Mikel obi , Osaze, for the oldheads Segun Odegbami, Christian chukwu |

Kog45:i totally disagree with you, players are rated base on club and national team all over the world unless you have an a bias mindset. You can't throwaway 100s of games to rate a player base on a few national team games. Argentina and the world already know Messi is the GOAT, he only needs the world cup to cement that status. Watch players with open mind, Osimhen playing for Gala, he's not just representing Gala but also putting Nigeria on the map. Yes national team football is important just as club football. Kanu represented SE playing 86games and you want to tell me he was just a squad member or a pushover even in the SEs. It's an insult to even use Boniface who's not even an established SE player to compare Legendary kanu because he has zero Afcon goals |

Kog45:if you say so. For me I rate Mikel very highly but Jayjay was already a household name, a brand. The position Mikel played affected his rating and it's unrelated because Kanu we are talking about is a 2 times APOTY which no other Nigerian won in 2 decades until Osimhen. |

zicky:Kanu performance in 6 Afcons and 3 WC will always make it debatable to rate him as Nigeria best. If going by APOTY then Ikpeba is greater than Okocha. |

Goke7:Hmmmm to just play football without winning something ain't no good oo. He needs trophies in his cabinet. So far as per senior football, he's got just one league cup and on a personal level, the capocanieri. More, more, more |
