The court emphasised that matters relating to party leadership are internal affairs, over which the judiciary has no jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the Supreme Court noted that the appeal filed by Senator Esther Usman and another was allowed, having been found to be meritorious.

The court also observed that, based on the submissions before it, Abure’s tenure had already expired. Consequently, it dismissed the cross-appeal filed by the Abure faction of the Labour Party.

The supreme court only declared that Abure's tenure had expired.

It's left to Giringory's faction to get a court order to compel Abure to conduct fresh elections for the LP excos.

It so strange that 2 years after the general election all the key opposition parties are in internal disarray.

It seems these Abure people are pretty desperate and happy to misinform.

This misinformation after a Supreme Court judgement is becoming to common in this country now. Someone needs to step in and deal with anyone that misleads the public after the final arbiter has spoken on a matter.

A most shaggy, jittery and scurrilous one he is at that, who dances the tune of party desire to his strategic point, only to suddenly collapse on the floor, strip naked and begin to scream at the top of his voice his desire for the destruction of the party at the behest of his masters in the nether regions of the earth who have hump backs and who glare out of frog eyes.

You see ...

This is exactly the confusion that will be happening at various political parties..

Party Excos removed can be adamant and refused to leave and there is no court that will entertain such matters... because Supreme Court says court lacks jurisdiction on internal affairs of political parties.

Na season film

The horse long bolted away!

That’s medicine after death.
The party long ago determined their leaders. Abure, Ifih and their group should find ways of making peace and allow the party move to the next level.

Black man and extreme greed for money and power how long does abure wants to remain as labour party chairman? Why can't he listen to majority of his party members who wants him to step down for someone from the north given that the presidential ticket is already zoned to the south?
