Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos Fear of prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the 2023 general election are largely responsible for the defection of some governors, senators and former political office holders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Daily Independent has gathered.https://independent.ng/fear-of-efcc-2023-poll-driving-pdp-govs-senators-to-apc/ 1 Like

This is a very rubbish hypothesis for self consolation by the PDP. Those former PDP governors who are still in the party and have been accused of corruption in the past, what has happened to them? If someone like Fayose is walking freely after his tenure in spite of his staunch opposition and weighty corrupt accusations against him. All a governor needs irrespective of his party affiliation after his tenure is to make ready his stolen wealth to bribe Judges. Simple, this is Nigeria! 29 Likes |

Despite the discontent against the ruling party, there has been influx of serving and former political office holders from the PDP into the party, the latest being Governor Ben Ayade of Cross Rivers State. They can only run, they cannot hide with our stolen Yams. Any corrupt politicians will all never end well in life no matter the political party they are in. Along with the swines supporting such looters and criminals. Terrible end await them all. Nigeria will be great in our lifetime. A better Nigeria is all we want, not all these political shenanigans of olosho/CodedRuns politicians. 10 Likes 5 Shares |

Actually that is one of the major driving force. And PDP does not really have any strong politician that can battle for the presidential post. APC had federal might and they have some popular politician in the regions that determines who rules the nation (SW & NW) 3 Likes |

The Fulani owners of APC are building Nigeria as one party state using EFCC, INEC, and the armed forces. One party state makes it a lot easier for Fulanization and Islamization of Nigeria. 4 Likes |

No it's not. The wider fulanization requires all politicians to be in the ruling party. Any politicians not in APC will loose his seat. Remember they have collapsed judiciary into executive arm of government. Aso rock hands down verdict to the judiciary. So no election tribunal or supreme court can bail you when election is rigged against you. All politicians are unified to protect fulani interest. Even wike is aware. And he will move in die minutes. Welcome back to a one party system of the military era. This is a crucial time for all politicians to unite to fight secession agitations. This is a reminder that APC and PDP are 2 in the same body, politicians in APC decamped from PDP. This is in preparation of the great fulani take over. Usman Dan fodio dream is now. Fulanis can not afford miss this opportunity to conquer Nigeria... |

Investigating why some old corrupt buffoons are jumping ship, instead of focusing on newsworthy events happening every day in Nigeria? Nothing works in this country again. Not even the media that should be the voice of the people. Are we to label this report investigation journalism? I blame the editor that approved this story, and also the idiot that even conceived this to be news despite the anomalies worth investigation here in Nigeria. Nigeria is going to be in shambles for a long time, and only thieves and the independent lone wolves will survive. 1 Like |

Only in Nigeria have I seen this kind of shameless carpet crossing, which shows that there's no difference in policy or political outlook, only for selfish interest. With APC or PDP at the helm of affairs, country is in deep sh*t….. |
