Victor Osimhen has improved on his penalties this season, I'll be confident to give him a penalty in a tournament. I don't think he has even missed a penalty for Nigeria before (I'll go confirm that now)... Everyone here attested to that earlier this season, what is getting me annoyed is that out of the blues now, because he "almost" had one saved, you said he has a bad penalty technique. I didn't agree it wasn't good. I said I'm not against improvement, if he wants to change technique because someone said he has a terrible technique, that's up to him. All I know is that this technique is what he has used to score all his PKs this season and I'm okay with it. I'm not against it one bit.

Some defenders are good at taking penalties. Remember it was Ramos that was taking penalties for Madrid after Ronaldo departure even when the World Class Striker Benzema was there.

I guess his conversion rate is high in training compared to most

Ekong started in 2022, in the match against Ghana in Abuja. Before then, it was between Osimhen and Simon. Omeruo took the best penalty in AFCON against South Africa, it was too good.

Ekong, but Osimhen should be taking our penalties henceforth unless we are in extreme pressure to score.

Penalties shootout is different from penalty during the course of a match, especially WC qualifiers when a team is trailing by a lone goal.
