With due respect,I do not support jungle Justice neither do I agree with you. The country is already tense up due to insecurities everywhere,no one feels safe . You can imagine the FG blaming their failure on "Jungle Justice" as if it's the first time people are travelling that Uromi part of the country. When herdsmen/northerners go on killing spree in the name of whatever, the government turns a deaf ear and blind eye to it but when the ball gets on the other court, they cry jungle justice and arrests and compensations. Well... They probably shouldn't have travelled with guns. The insecurity is too much and some of the people who accousted them could have had one or more relatives kidnapped or killed. That feeling alone is enough to make anyone act out of order.
In as much as I am not justifying the killing and I'll continue to condemn mob action and jungle justice, the insecurity in the country makes situations like this one really dicy.
Who knows if this young man was truly with them. Anyone can be made to come out and claim to be with the people killed just to push a narrative that they were indeed hunters.
Even if they were hunters, have we not seen robbers in police and military uniforms? Have we not seen ritualists who are clergymen whether christians or Muslims? Have we not seen men who are women and women who are men?
If only security agencies have not been setting criminals free with just a call from the top, the number of jungle justices would have reduced considerably.
This is a case of blaming the mouse and blaming the smoked fish.

I don't support jungle justice in any form even if they were terrorist herders, the due process of law should have been allowed. It's a failure of government. This people have been terrorized by herders for a every long time and nobody came to their aid. There is distrust in the Nigerian state because of the failure of government. All the people that are calling for justice today because its at their doorstep, stay mute when even video evidence of the atrocities of Fulani herders is shown. If they respond with the same vigour Nigeria would have been a better place. Why are we not asking the right questions. How is it that they had guns and probably live ammunition with them. Hunters don't travel with guns because they know it's illegal.Nigerians are calling for justice for Deborah Samuel, the video clip was every where, it was another case of Jungle justice, if the perpetrators where brought to book then I am sure, it would have brought an end to jungle justice.
