China and USA have industries that export. They don't rely on oil alone .unlike Nigeria and the UAE . They use what they have to make stuff the world needs. That's why they are rich and we are not

That's why apc and tinubu is a bad government. Oil dependency . No plan to industrialize Nigeria which would even make us better than UAE by far eventually

Should oil go, UAE and Nigeria and even Saudi will fall to bits economically

USA does not rely on oil alone. It has a massively diversified economy that relies heavily on a diversified export portfolio that includes a lot.of industrial goods and services

Also most of their income comes.from taxes.

Nigeria under APC, 80 percent of our income comes from oil. The oil revenue cannot sustain 220million people. And we don't control the oil prices. So we.never earn enough cash and have to be taking loans worsening our debt.

Nigeria must industrialize. But apc instead wants to raise oil production. No plan to use the available raw materials to make stuff the world needs

Those are the names of cities in the country of UAE. United Arab Emirates.

The population of the UAE is 10 million, with 113 billion barrels of proven reserves of oil.

She is the 8th largest oil producing country on Earth with an annual GDP of 586 billion dollars.

Her annual budget is 20 billion dollars, more than enough for her 10 million population.

It's like giving Jigawa state 20 billion dollars every year. What will they not be able to do?

Given the above VERIFIABLE STATISTICAL FACTS, the UAE is VASTLY WEALTHIER than Nigeria, with INFINITELY MORE DISPOSABLE INCOME THAN NIGERIA, and it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Nigerian people or Nigerian leaders.

Nigeria's ONLY route to vast wealth is ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION AWAY FROM OIL, which we ARE doing.

That 200 children is additional resources in what the call man power and human capital. If the man use the oil resources to develop them and not only to feed them. That's what the other man did by developing that one child and not only to feed him. Venezuela has that same N500,000 and 1 child but could neither feed no develop that one child. Leadership failure.

This logic won't work well with the situation on ground. A situation were funds meant for development are being embezzled even from the grassroots.
If the whites stayed in the country even up to the 1990s, by now Nigeria will look like Europe.
It's only those that are benefiting from corruption will give lame excuses.
Peter Obi could have helped reduced the wastage but a lot of people prefer to flex the national resources to stupor.

This won't hold water. Nigeria's major problems are CORRUPTION, religious and Tribal issues. Corruption is our biggest issue here. Imagine a man appointed as a commissioner throwing parties, taking 2 cows to church for thanksgiving. He was called to serve so why the merriment and fun fare? Well, your guess is as good as mine. Not until there are capital punishments for every form of corruption, the country's progress will be considered a miracle. An elected governor/president is not bothered on fulfilling his campaign promises. Rather, he is more focused on securing his second term bid and implanting a stooge who will be at his beck and call even after completing his own tenures.

Appointments are not being made on merits but rather on political, tribal, and religious affiliations. I was once in a group where we wanted to hold each elected candidate from the governor, house of reps, HOA, LG chairman, etc, accountable and do a scorecard. The group collapsed on tribal and corruption grounds. Admin was codedly placed on a monthly salary of 500k; other members were receiving one form of tipping or the other, and some were scoring based on tribal affiliations. With these 3 things in place Nigeria is doomed.
