To be clear, you can work full-time in your field once you receive a job offer. There are no salary restrictions at that point. However, when you arrive in Germany, you are only allowed to work outside your field for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Once you secure a job in your field — the one you specified during your visa application — you must submit the offer to the Ausländerbehörde (immigration office). They will then issue you a standard work permit for full-time employment, even if the salary does not meet the Blue Card requirements.

Please note that if the average salary for your field and role is, for example, €55,000, and your company offers you only €45,000, the authorities are unlikely to approve it. The salary must be within the typical range for professionals in your field currently working in Germany.

@MOD

Shouldn't the title of this forum be edited/revised.

Apparently It is not Migrating for free.
You need 23 million naira. IT IS NOT FREE.

And you also have working limit restrictions.

Please house, I have a question that needs an urgent response. I studied Microbiology, and I am currently working as a microbiology laboratory assistant, so while filling out the occupation learned section of the VIDEX form, I didn't see any role close to my profession apart from a researcher.
So my question is this: should I select researcher, then fill in Microbiologist and Laboratory Assistant in the further information where applicable and current occupation, respectively, or should I pick other professions, then fill in the Microbiologist and Laboratory Assistant in the follow-up sections.

Please, suggestions and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

From my understanding , A researcher needs a PHD Degree.
Researchers are mainly postdoctoral fellows.

It will be fair to dig out/find out Germany's definition of a researcher.

If all you said is indeed true, you have all the requirements. Go ahead and get the sponsorship letter. Tha waiting time is currently 2 to 6 months. The more you wait, the more it extends

The reason for stay is always stated on the sponsorship letter. You have to change it else you might get a rejection

it's €13,092. You have to block it in a German account. Look up Coracle and Expatrio online

You're to "block" €13,092 in a German account. You'll get €1091 from it monthly. Search Coracle or Expatrio block account online. He would be asked to transfer the money to the account in Germany

You can only get your money back if your get a rejection from the embassy, or ask the embassy to issue your a letter of withdrawal from the visa application. It has a legal binding, so the banks will only release the account when your visa is no longer valid.

I literally gave you two bank options. Go look them up. That's what students and opportunity card applicants are using

Hi Everyone,

Quick question please as I'm in the process of filing my Videx form,

1. Can i use someone that I'm not related to that's based in Germany as a reference person, this same person also helped me with declaration of commitment which i now have.
2. Regarding travel data under purpose of stay I'm guessing this will be Employment right?

Looking forward to answers.

Thank you!

Hello everyone,

For people already on the waiting list, I want to know if you saw a prompt on your portal recently asking you to confirm if you still want to be on the waiting list or else you'll be removed

It's called Declaration of Commitment “Verpflichtungserklärung” , and it's issued by the Ausländerbehörde(Immigration office) of the city where your sponsor (relative, friend or business) who is a legal resident or registered legal entity in Germany.

The person issuing it will submit his/her most recent 3 to 6 months payslip depending on the city, house contract, etc, and they'll check the creditworthiness of the entity. If the salary or money earned is enough, they issue the letter.

Many people don't understand the legal implementations of the letter. You're like a guarantor for the person. If he or she defaults in health insurance, commits crime or is been deported, you're held responsible and you pay the cost.

Personally, I can only give this type of letter to my blood. Unless my Spirit says otherwise
