fast forward to 2017 and i bought a p71 for 600k [$1800]. maxed out, at over 50% off because it was from lenovo outlet

at the time i also bought a first gen corsair one pro i7, 16gb ram, with a 1080 from amazon. also used. $1500 instead of over $3500. upgraded later to 32gb , with a total ssd space of 2tb + 4tb +4tb. strictly for living room gaming. plenty of good times with it.


a real techie would never buy a brand new yaris laptop when he can buy a used highlander laptop for the same price. i will NEVER advise anyone to buy a low end brand new pc when they can get a lightly used one with superior specs. i have not bought a pc brand new since the dell precision in 2008. if i had bought that from dell outlet, i would probably have gotten the 512mb quadro model
