Tinubu invited him to dine with him and he not only did as common for a lapdog. He also became his chorister

No wonder Nigeria is where it is today,if people like this people u are promoting keeps being recircled in and out of politics.
I wish Una good luck

quote author=WizardOfNG post=134880073]

Forget this your talk. You are not a progressive person. Simple. If not, you'd admire Reno Omokri for many things.

Aside being a former fierce critic of Tinubu and now his avid fan, a development most Nigerians have been guilty of that will surely include whoever your political hero is, is Omokri not above almost all your leaders in terms of intelligent , research-driven and critically discerning public utterances that educates the uninformed and grounds the undecided?

Take tax reform bill for example. Most opposition leaders , like Obi and Atiku, played politics of mischief with it while those in the APC were too lazy to even familiarise themselves with the bill enough to speak authoritatively on it to the public let alone dispell misinformation and deliberate lies agains the bills from rapacious enemies of Nigeria's progress.

Yet Omokri who is not in Government, nor employed by Tinubu, carried out the task admirably using a mix of cold and verified facts and even witty cajolling as we see below.

You are just an incorrigible hater and biased person like many Nigeriasn because those who are strictly progressive, above sentiments, bias and vindictiveness, know how to overlook pettiness in recognising the square-peg-in-square-hole brilliance and solutions-provision usefuleness of others.

No other leader better at such than Tinubu who would have been impressed, as we all have, with Omokri's dispassionately analytical and research-driven brilliance far above that of most who have been political leaders for over 20 years.[/quote]

I had to open this new account on Nairaland for this purpose.

If PBAT nominates Reno Omokori as an Ambassador and deliberately used the security report issue against the ministerial nomination of El-rufai, the President not wise then.

Check Reno's post on the 15th of January, 2025 with the full blaire of inciting a revisionist and divisionist narrative of the 1966 coup led by Major Kaduna Nzeogwu & Major Ifeajuna.

He got the most negative reactionary comments in "X" history for his inciting the south easterners against the Fulani/Hausa.

If PBAT goes ahead to send his name to the Senate I am very sure he would be removed. Reno Omokori is not fit to be a counsellor or LG chairman not to talk of an Ambassador.

PBAT better be wise !!!

For me he deserves it, he's unarguably one of the strongest defender and unofficial spokesperson of the President. He has helped to keep a section of the marauding Internet version of ESN and IPOB bandits at bay.
His yet to be officially announced appointment is a lose -lose situation for the Internet bandits. If it turns to be false, they'll attack Reno, that the President has abandoned him, despite his fierce defence of the policies and actions of the President, if he gets the appointment, the bandits will accuse and insult the President of rewarding rascalities and indecency.
Head or tail, wailers must wail!
To you now, best criteria is been baselessly rascal.
Spits!

You m3an correction of falsehood is an attack on the igbos?
That shouldn't be true
Don't mind that clown. All they know to do is play victim, because of inbred persecution complex, and talk as if everything revolves around their ethnic group.

Reno is brilliant at correction of falsehood, often deliberate and the result of bigotry and toxic politics, as you noted.

Coincidentally, non peddle falshood and outright fake news, such as Buhari dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan, as irresponsibly, as malicously, as shamelessly and as hateful and bigotedly Igbos do.

This is why they are naturally always on the recieving end of Omokri's "table shaking" to then begin crying of 'persecution' and "Igbo hatred" against Reno.

so someone who is supposed to represent the whole Nigeria irrespective of where you come from is seen as being an attack dog against a section of a country?

I'm not bothered about his job but he should remain there and not be made to represent the whole country. He looks biased already
Wow, so Reno now looks biased? He wasn’t biased when he was actively supporting Obi/Atiku and fiercely attacking the then president and Tinubu. You ebos are the easiest set of humans subhumans to control. Have you noticed that most of Tinubu’s followers don’t really like this man and that nobody is praising him? This is because they are wiser and don’t easily get carried away by sheer sycophancy. Some of us are even surprised at how and why the President decided to reward the loudmouth despite his rains of insults on him in the past but then again, this is Tinubu, the master strategist who does mysterious things. Remember this same man employed someone who contested against him (Baba Ahmed I.e Obi’s vice ) to work for him as an adviser? grin
Pesin wey employ Bianca and Wike to be part of his government despite being in the opposition. This man is arguably the wisest politician Nigeria has ever had. You just can’t understand his ways and games.

He has said so on several recorded occasions.

Exactly. Because his colleague has been rewarded but he's been ignored, even with his multiple handles on the forum. That's not nice of the APC government. They should also reward their nairaland zombies.

Re: Reno Omokri As An Ambassador, Hit Or Miss? by kolente: 8:55am On Apr 07, 2025
Reno Omokori is unfortunately on the list.

It has been confirmed by two(2) credible media houses with good inner source one of which is the Vanguard Newspapers.

So unfortunate- People like Onakpasa, etc will cry...

PBAT doesn't have taste I swear.

Abemy:
"The nominees are being vetted, and background checks are being conducted on them. It is usually done so that the nominees will not have any security issues and their deployment will not have a negative impact on the country,” the official said.

There was also a claim that Reno Omokri, a former aide of former President Goodluck Jonathan, was on the list.

But a credible source in the Presidency denied it.

“Reno is not on the list. But FFK is there,” the source said.

The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, who earlier spoke about the delays, said nominations for ambassadorial roles must be thorough before a final list is transmitted to the National Assembly.

“Don’t forget that the ambassadorial list has two components. There are career ambassadors and political ambassadors. The foreign affairs list and the consolidated list will still go through certain processes before they are released,” he explained"

Where do you obtain your Intel, that Reno is being nominated?

My bro, if accurate, he more than deserves it. No one has taken time to always defend plus thoroughly and exhaustively explain the policies and initiatives of President Tinubu in ways that completely educates Nigerians, willing to learn, and dismisses deliberate fake news and misinformation from political mischief-makers. I have learnt a lot from Reno.

Also, Omokri is a well-educated, eloquent, witty and very intelligent individual who will be one of our stand-out Ambassadors for sure. Fully endorse his nomination if indeed accurate.
What is there to explain about the counter productive policies synonmous with Tpain govt

Anyone can package rubbish, go n read the comment sections of Reno post ...
how do you make sense of refinery is working and yet Nnpc is still the largest importer or
Nigerians record highest revenue generation under Tinubu but the same govt have taken our loans from 70trn to almost 150 trn just under 2yrs

Sebi naa one idiot say 1500 can buy bolli & fish but $1 can not buy a meal anywhere in Us therefore Nigerians should be happy there highest currency is being compared with america lowest currency

Thats what you call defense, do Tinubu boiz care about Nigerians, any objectivity, @least now we know why Reno aborted his brain

Reward for attacking Peter Obi and igbos in general.

In Tinubu's administration, if you want to be recognized, just insult igbos and boom, they'll reward you.

What a country.
Chinedu, you aren’t really bright enough to see this man’s gameplan. He is obviously making sure that he has no serious opposition. For the first time in the history of the Nigerian democracy, opposition is being killed at all levels. Man is busy keeping his opposition and their attack dogs busy grin
If not that democracy gives every idiot a chance for the sake of fairness, in all honesty, should someone like Obi be allowed to contest and stand toe to toe with this man? Let’s put sentiments aside and be honest with ourselves , it’s an insult because they aren’t even remotely comparable. Man is just busy employing his ENEMIES to work for him in a typical case of keeping your enemies very much closer grin

I see nothing wrong in nominating Reno. But I believe that as an ambassador u have silenced his voice because nobody will hear from him as often.
Bit if u nominate him as a board member or into any MDA, it will be better.
Tinubu need Reno's voice more than Reno need his appointment.
