I have the hdd there because though slower, they are still dependable. I use it to store data that is barely accessed that I want on that computer if I can't ever access my server.
It was a purposeful design choice when I built the computer, though I have other larger unused ssds.

Good, you have fan and watercooling = performance. You inefficient cpu is drawing power firing on all cores to run basic stuff so you need water cooling. Nice, M3 with no fan and watercooling will outperform it both in single and multiple cores.
