Julius Berger links up with Arab Contractors as the Port Harcourt road construction finally reaches the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway way.

Love what i’m seeing! Hope the entire road and surrounding areas are kept spotless to give a positive first impression to visitors arriving Aba through that axis! I would suggest the state gov’t doesn’t allow people takeover all the open spaces adjoining Port Harcourt road and the expressway and litter it with rubbish and unsightly clutter! Designated areas could done with interlocking stones and set aside for trading and other business activities, while the remaining large expanse of open space could be landscaped….levelled and planted with carpet grass! What we should be aiming for is a ZERO bare/open earth policy, as bare/open earth is ugly to look at and removes from the aesthetics of a newly constructed road! It also leads to erosion, dusty atmosphere and causes a build up of sand/sediment on the road!
