I am a core Obedient but some of the courage I have seen Asiwaju exhibit in a complex secular state like Nigeria, it will take 5 Peter Obi to take that route.

Looks like an Asiwaju needs to be president 1st to clear a very rough political terrain overtaken by Northerners and Southern political collaborators so that an Obi type (normal kind of politician) can give good dividends. These guys would have grounded Obi if he had won the elections.

That's good, it'll assist the stabilization of Naira . Enemies of Nigeria will always be in pains.

Anything that will reduce our use or demand for dollars as a nation and people must be pursued. The currency value issue is one of the key reasons so many Nigerians are poor, because the naira they are earning has no value, can't compete.

This government must go into trade agreements with nations so we buy and sell and render services to each other, using individual local currencies, this will also boost the value of naira, as it will be in circulation in the international market, as well as reduce our demand for dollars.

It's all about demand and supply determining price, and balance of payments, in international trade...we know these principles we must apply them. Nigeria is a sovereign nation, and must work for the prosperity of its people, we must invoke the spirit of nationalism, this is what the whole world is practising now, let's not be left behind.

Less demand for dollars by Nigeria and Nigerians in Nigeria, will reduce it's value to the naira.

There is a difference between earning dollars and buying it to pay for goods and services, earning it is better.

I hope the reduction in the price of crude oil within the international market will impact the Nigerian citizenry in a positive way by bringing the price of pms, diesel and domestic gas down drastically.

Gas also came down too

Now, they moved my hood from Band A to Band B and it eased the burden on electricity tariff on residents

For fairness "needing dollars $ in France" should never be the business of the Majority of Nigerians affected. Needing dollars in France it's entirely in the favour of their businesses. We read how "Tinubus" own and operate their Oil businesses Abroad. I watched how Ahmed Bola Tinubu is the said to be the Richest Yoruba Man in Nigeria, with net worth of tens of Billions dollars. You know it is easier to upgrade to Band A than to downgrade to Band B

Just like petrol stations, easy to increase the price but to reduce, they will tell you they must finish the old stock before reducing to new one.

Infact, your analogy is so on point. We have been downgraded since Saturday to Band B, up till now na Band A charge we dey get.. Just the way it is when Fuel price reduces..
