I agree Trump can be overbearing at times, but considering how China has been benefiting disproportionately in her trade with the US, I don't think Xi handled this well. He was not tactical in his approach. His response was too hasty, sacrificing over $500 billion export market on the altar of pride is never worth it. EU wey say them go negotiate are not f00lish. Certain things require wisdom. Now he is reporting Trump to WTO, same WTO through which America help them years ago. I just hope China got a backup plan, Trump is not a democratic leader they can easily bend, he is very stubborn.
