America didn’t become a laughingstock until a 34 time felon got into the White House.

He is fighting for his personal wealth and to stay out of prison for his crimes.

He doesn’t care about anyone
Not the elderly
The poor
The average middle class citizen.
The sick
The veterans
He would sell us all if he’s promised he can turn a profit.

The party that consistently votes against affordable healthcare, livable wages, paid parental leave, safety regulations, unions and labor protections etc are the republicans. That’s the definition of hating Americans in my opinion. You can easily search up who proposed what bills and who voted against them.

A truth social tweet is not proof of love without meaningful action to back it up.

Some people here know the drill but their problem is that the one championing it is the orange man. Democrats really really hate America cos this should be a welcoming and exciting news that your president is fighting for u.

They have reduced America to laughing stock.

Take for example Two healthcare systems HCA versus Kaiser. HCA practices unbridled capitalism. They do not follow safe staffing ratios. They put critically ill patients in observation units instead of transferring out as needed. They will staff critical care nurses above the recommended safe limits so that your critically ill family member is not receiving the level of monitoring they need for their dire situation. All so they can save on staffing costs.
I don't agree with this. Have you worked for HCA or are you going off media reports? I worked in finance for HCA for over 12 years overseeing 7 Hospitals in my regions. As far as the UK is concerned, HCA have the best nurse to patient ratio with 3:1 daytime and 4:1 at night for Acute medical patients (mostly cancer) and 5:1 for surgical patients compared to NHS where you can see 8:1 to even 10:1 for Surgical patients. I believe the same ratios apply in the US but cannot say with certainty. HCA ratios better Circle, Spire, Ramsay and Nuffield in the UK which were our main competitors.

After 90 days he’ll give you another excuse why it won’t happen. Meanwhile he’s crashed the market and cost millions their retirement. While him and his billionaire cronies make away like bandits.
Sure. The world noticed that America can act indecisively and chaotically under a man child president
Whatever you have to tell yourselves to come to terms with your support for this wild circus in the white house is fine by me.
I ain’t gon hold ya.
All the retirement lost have been bouncing back now, Unless you are telling me these people sold in the last 5 days
Not like the last sleepy Joe where he didn't know what he was doing or the executive orders he was signing

Though the US imported far more from China ($440bn) than China imported from America ($145bn).

That left the US running a trade deficit with China - the difference between what it imports and exports - of $295bn in 2024. That's a considerable trade deficit, equivalent to around 1% of the US economy.
Love your reasoning.

You'd run up your credit card to pay for your consumption, then blame those you bought from and tariff them.

I don’t know what the UK system is like but HCA is the devil in American healthcare circles. Never met a nurse who worked for them in America that had anything good to say. It is possible that other non-patient facing roles won’t have same complaints working for them because they’re not the ones bearing the brunt of low staffing issues.

However those two were just examples. And all of this is alleged because I don’t have money for lawsuit. The fear of HCA is the beginning of wisdom.😫

This survey was done during Covid. Show me a survey of nurses during COVID that won't show stress when they were all falling out sick at zero moments notice. During COVID, I was almost fully working Supply Chain, that's how bad things were. Army were seizing our inventories sef to divert to NHS, you gast dey go beg Army to release your stock almost every day.

HCA complaints precede COVID.

We have forums for rating places we work so that other colleagues can proceed with caution. No one has anything to say about nice HCA in America.

I don’t know anything about the UK healthcare system so they might be great over there. I didn’t even realize they are there too. Your post is the first I’m hearing of it .

Yeah, they are one of the big providers in UK and their reputation over here is the best among the Private providers. UK is their only venture abroad, though we had some legal setups in Ireland and Luxembourg for tax reasons. UK is about £1 bln yearly revenue and USA about $60 bln yearly. It could be that they are more gungho in USA, certainly our bosses in Nashville were more aggressive if we missed targets than you would expect from an Englishman in a Corporate environment.

But this is a special kind of cringe for politicians to introduce a bill honoring a murderer.

Ibime another thing you have to consider with healthcare systems is that depending on who’s heading the regional market, the experience of the employee is going to be vastly different. When I lived in Seattle, Kaiser was the devil according to some nurses and patients. I was a new grad then and I worked for a different system that I loved until they got acquired by another big corporation and everything turned on its head.

Fast forward to years later after goin back and forth to different places I was in California and Kaiser was the angel because they’re in a different regional market. Even almighty Stanford only came second to Kaiser in my region.

But 8 hours down the road to Southern California and Kaiser systems over there didn’t measure up to Kaiser systems in Northern California. It’s all the same corporation but different unions based on the region. Hence staff experience varied.

I guess my point is HCA UK might be great and that could cloud your judgement about what American nurses have to say about HCA here. But consistently they all say they hate it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

In Medical circles in the US, HCA generally does not have a good reputation, Especially with their employees, they are very cu throat, They pay their doctors poorly e.g when a regular doctor at other healtcare system should be making say 250 to 350K, HCA might say they pay you 120k and the rest is based on RVUs

In Texas for example they run all the Medical City Hospitals. Many Doctors and Nurses will rather avoid them if you can and go to Baylor Scott white, Texas Health or Methodist

The way HCA is run, you will think maybe they are starting to have a lot of Indian mid to senior managers and putting in practices you will see more in countries outside US

About 12yrs ago, Kaiser used to be great in Southern California especially in San Diego, Escondido area. I am talking from a patient POV, not a provider
