It's not just Biden, it's every past administration for the past 40yrs who watched as American manufacturing shut down and the people and communities who depend on them left behind

If you notice, it's why Trump won all the rust belt states. The middle states who depend a lot on manufacturing and who got affected the most by the loss of manufacturing jobs after they were deceived for long

These people believed and voted for past presidents who promised to bring these jobs back and didn't do it

It takes a special level of buffoonery to say people were happier in the 50s. This totally disregards the experience of black people. The only people who were happier in the 50s were white people. If you can’t see that because you choose not to see things “through a lens of race”, it means you’re totally disconnected from your own identity. It’s not a flex. Unless you think only white people are humans. Therefore when assessing happiness only their happiness counts.

If we make American great again to be like the 50s, you will not be part of the prosperous class. You’re going back to fighting for civil rights. I can’t believe we’re having this conversation in 2025. A group of black men who want to go back to the times before they had the right to vote.

What you’re witnessing is a generation of people who are not okay with letting things be the way they used to be. So they speak up more, agitate more and tolerate less. It doesn’t mean they have it worse than those who directly experienced the horrors.

Don’t mistake people being more vocal and advocating for themselves as being more affected. As of 1968, public lynching of black people was still a thing. In other for people to survive then, they had to have put on a facade, keep their heads down and swallow their pride so as not to be the next in the trees. That’s some soul crushing existence if I ever saw one.

What you’re asking is for black men to go back to an existence of being submissive to white men, not to ruffle any feathers and accept whatever is thrown at them because anything else is playing victimhood.

How is it being vocal by refusing to move on?
A lot has changed. If black Americans have the same mentality and culture they did back in the 50s, they'd be top class in the country.

There is a reason they hate US from Africa. we are most likely to be successful and be more educated
