The fact that their minimum wages are at or under the federal minimum and consistently puts them below the poverty line is something that they would’ve addressed a long time ago if they weren’t so focused on demonizing immigrants and throwing a fit about gay people living in California.
Their priorities seem messed up to me.
How do they keep voting the same leaders who keep them in cycles of poverty from generation to generation but every election year they are still able to convince them that so and so is their problem & not their leaders?

2) people who migrate from blue states are not necessarily those who don’t like it. Many of them love the money and the benefits they get. Some are earning high incomes working remotely while physically in red states. If they loved red states so much they should’ve committed fully to earning the income those states offer.

Some others moved because they retired and they want to keep their high retirement income while feeling like they are living big among the red residents. In summary it’s not a net positive thing because it’s driving up your housing costs but the minimum wage remains the same. Residents in those states will soon be getting priced out of their homes. I’ve seen one too many conservative brag about that as if it’s a good thing for them. You guys just love to “own the libs” . I’d be worried not happy.

But for the ones who actually left because they truly prefer red states, I applaud them and say good riddance. I wish more people would move to states that align with their political beliefs and enjoy the policies they voted for. Could you imagine? I feel like America would be paradise if that happened.

How many people work remotely? The bulk of people still go physically for work. Remote work was mostly with covid, pre and post covid people are still leaving blue states in droves. Almost all the Nigerians living around me I will say 80% of them moved from blue states and they earn income from this state not from any blue state. Their income goes way further in a red state than in any blue state because they will kill you with taxes and other programs

More and more companies are moving from blues states to red states and taking their jobs with them because red states are more business friendly
