Your Moniepoint statement will be of no use because it is a MFB, you can move the funds to commercial bank account and explain the sources of fund and why you moved to the commercial bank. Why are you planning to add the business docs, since you are being sponsored by your Aunt and her hubby? November is a long time better to leave in December except you have enough funds to settle your bills and have a good reason to arrive two months to your start date.

Thanks for your reply... I've been reading this thread since January started from part 21 and I've seen various reasons for rejections .. so I felt like if I added my own business and statement it might help boost the POF and home ties stuff like that

People have gotten visa approvals on the 3rd or 4th attemp after initial refusal(s). So the answer is yes if you can address the concerns of the VO. Be ready to prove the funds you have aren't for demonstrative purposes anyway
Thanks

You need to do it better or appropriately, MFB accounts will be seen as not having access since they do not do FX transactions.

Good day everyone,

Please I need clarity/ guidance on my next application. I’ve been refused solely on financial grounds.
So now, I’ve paid my complete tuition and I’ve started the process of GIC to cover living expenses. Also, I have about 25m to cover flight and miscellaneous which has been in my account for about 5-6months.
My dad is my sponsor btw. So my question now is, after proving the source of funds with land sale document (Deed of Transfer) his employment records (appointment letter and Payslips)and business records (CAC and Tax Clearance), do I need to submit his account statements again?

He is your sponsor, you are supposed to show his SOA, so they can verify his financial history. Please did you request for GCMS notes for the first rejection?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 11:39am On Apr 14, 2025
If all the funds you require is available in your account, then you don't need to submit his SOA.

Verifiable statements from commercial banks are the strongest proof of funds, backed with account history showing stable funds. Everything else is looked at less favorably. E.g. employment letters and property transfer deeds, etc are notoriously faked.

The correct answer to this question in your circumstance is NO, take the normal IELTS, basically the same, if you got a good grade on UKVI you'll probably do well.

Hello my friend, in this case you need more specificity.

How many days is the program exactly, what are the exact dates? First day of classes and last day?

That's your answer ;-)

Hello everyone! Greetings of the day!
Please advise me on this issue:
I've just gotten admission for a 2 years master course at Mount saint Vincent University but I want to differ this admission till next year due to some unforseen circumstances. Is it possible I apply for my study permit before the diferral as their requirements keep changing every year. Is it possible I apply and keep my visa with me till next year when I'm ready to go? Thank you
Don't advise any of these approaches above.

Best course of action is know exactly what you plan is and adjust, keep everything honest. Inform the school of the deferral, get a new LOA from them based on accurate info of your future plans and apply straightforwardly with the updated and accurate documents.

Is there any advantage of a 2 year course over a 1 year course in a Canadian university?
Difficult to answer without more detail. Do you mean post grad one year certificate or two year Masters? Do you mean one year course work or two year dissertation?

I don't know of any two year bachelor, three year bachelors do exist.

Having said that, what's your actual purpose? I assume find a great job afterwards, most employers would probably prefer more not less education. Be careful on courses being offered, some sound awesome (great website!) but they are more or less visa schools (They wouldn't exist unless they are mostly foreign students), and Canadian employers are well aware of who they are.

Stick to the most established and reputable is my advice for your own personal future prospects.

Thank you! Yes! I’ll say that I do have all the funds in my account.
I’m going for a 1 year program which has been fully paid for, Living cost is covered by GIC of $20,635 and I have an additional 25m in my personal account which has been there for close to 6 months now.

I understand you! But in this case, I’ve already paid for the tuition in full, there’s a GIC of $20,635 for living expenses and an additional 25M in my personal account which has been there for close to 6 months. My question is not about the proof of funds, it’s more about the SOURCE, to show that the money is legit, my dad is my sponsor and he has given me everything needed which I listed above, plus an affidavit of sponsorship.
So my question is, to show that the money came from a legit source are his employment records enough? In this case, Appointment letter, Payslips, CAC, Personal Tax Clearance and Business tax clearance. Or is it a must add that I add his SOA ?

Good evening, everyone
I'm seeking advice. I studied Environmental Technology for my first degree and I'm planning to pursue a Master's degree in Canada. I've been told I can pursue any course for my Master's regardless of my first degree, so I'm looking for recommendations on courses with good job prospects that can enhance my chances of staying in Canada after graduation. Any suggestions?

Answering honestly is never a problem (Visas, life, etc), it's the minor inconsistencies that cause 99% of all problems.

My advice is always 110% honesty, even if painful, then address whatever issues or questions are necessary, etc. I don't know what your program so can't comment past that.

Wish you the best ;-)

Cheers, I better understand you now ;-) The "GIC of $20,635 for living expenses and an additional 25M in my personal account" is likely enough (no guarantees always). The question is then how to best reflect the source of those funds, or what is referred to as "provenance" by VOs (if you see that word in GCMS notes now you know what it means).

Simple general advice here for the DIY applicants, assemble your financial docs in a logical, sensible order, bank certs up front, account history, then employment letters, other supporting docs. Make sure to include a straightforward , logical explanation letter that is simple and easy for a case assessment clerk to review and understand. Be strategic.

Good thought experiment always, if YOU were the reviewing clerk at the embassy and YOU were reviewing the file, what would you consider to be the most efficient and logical explanation of the details on your file? Write your letter and order your documents with that idea in mind.

Best of luck!

Good evening Friend,

"I've been told I can pursue any course for my Master's regardless of my first degree"

In Academics or Immigration? In Academics that is a very low percentage approach, e.g. you did your BA in East Asian Studies now you want to do a Masters in Chemistry? With love and respect I believe you can see the obvious inconsistency here with an ANY program approach.

Same for Immigration. Remember a human looks at your application. What would they think of an application like the one above? Good chance they think it might not be all that realistic and how would you ever have obtained admission into a reputable program with a similar history as above in the first place? Need more review likely. Sounds like someone taking a program, ANY program just to get a visa...

Best general advice, a logical and easy to understand academic progression that would make sense to the average parent is likely the easiest for VOs to approve. And also do the right thing for your future, a radical change from your previous course of study might not be the best investment long run for you personally, again just an opinion ;-)

Best of luck!
