This happened to my inlaw in 2008 until he found out the problem was high horse power compressor was killing the engine just like yours. In auto shop setup, air compressors ranging from 5 to 30 horsepower with 80 to 240-gallon air receivers are typically sufficient to handle most tasks efficiently. You need to know how much HP air comprs. your car engine can handle.

An accord 2015 owner here. Car is plagued with many issues since I got it, but after spending so much since Nov 2024 till now, I felt the month of march was relatively stable until the car broke down at 11pm from a night of flenjo.

After series of trying to start it, it suddenly picked up 10mins later and luckily I was near home and r fuse to drive anywhere afterwards

Called a nearby mechanic to come check and first he said nothing is wrong with car that it is my fuel and I should used a fuel injector cleaner.

Got home and it broke down again the next day, luckily again I was close to my house when it happened.so this time the mechanic checked the pressure of the fuel pump, spark plugs and certified it good, serviced the fuel injector system. Now he says one of the cylinder is misfiring and they are suspecting it's a brainbox problem.

Rewire is suggesting testing another brainbox on the car, and if that fails they would have to check the engine if maybe gasket is bad but it has been established that one of the cylinders is the issue

I m wondering why they aren't seeing the exact cause since they use a car scanner abi thier own na for sakamanje or could this be a mechanical issue

I am already tired coz this is now day 4 at the mechanic workshop.
Who has experienced this before with an accord 2015

Forgot to add, the car starts and after 10 seconds it goes off except I keep on reving it like a danfo drive otherwise it will go off
Its like I need to keep reving it for it to stay alive

Car is just 6 months old in my hands and now at verge of selling it at a discounted price.

My guy dey languish for village now because of one Pajero jeep wey e buy 2 years ago.

It was so bad that him family and mechanic dey take breakfast together because of closeness

Please guys, what is this clamp dangling under my exhaust? I have used this car this way for a long time. I noticed whenever I climb bumps, some metal rattles underneath. I went under and had a look, and I see this thing like a clamp dangling loosely. Should I cut it off and just leave it that way? Or is it something that tightly fitted before but suddenly loosened?

It's a fastener that has come loose. Ask your panelbeater to fix it or delete it.

You should even have your own scanner and not depend on your mechanic. if you had a scanner, you would have seen the codes and that will even give you an idea of whatever is going on before a mechanic touches your car.
scan the car and post codes.

thanks bro its just the radiator cap that was causing the issue and i chamged it and all is fixed.

Be sure the keyless entry system isn't faulty like a faulty receiver or antenna.
Have you tried using a well charged car battery?

Id buy it for 4m. Try to buy 8litres of fuel and 2litres of thinner. Watch the car comenbqck to life. Your engine is filled of carbon. Nigerian used cars are trash.abt 90%. U wont be able to afford another car after selling it.fix and enjoy.na honda o andhonda no get value

if you are selling cheap, make sure you inform the innocent buyer what is about to inherit, doing so will help him understand reasons for your selling price.

I am not the regular car user, i am quick to change any faulty parts or give the car premium attention. I use the recommended Oil and the coolant

so on a large note, i can see i spend a lot on the car maintenance than the regular joe. meanwhile the car is back ontrack now, apparently all the spark plugs were changed and car is back to normal
