Should A Born Again Christian Restitute Or Just Move Forward In Faith? by cutecommend(op): 7:29am On Apr 13, 2025
If you have stolen money or things in your office, stole from friend or neighbour, forged certificate, had children from paternity fraud, committed adultery, lied against someone, falsely accuse someone, duped people, did internet fraud, slept with someone's wife, slept with someone's husband, slept with your EX few days/weeks etc. to your wedding, killed a neighbour and covered it up, slandered someone, used a close person for rituals, poisoned someone, tied someone's destiny with juju e.t.c, when you genuinely repent from sin, do you still need to go clear your conscience by apologising to those people or their loved ones, or are you to move forward?

When you repent genuinely, God forgives you totally and you begin to enjoy His presence. But as you begin to move on, the HolySpirit will begin to tell you of some things you need to go and make peace about, stolen things to return e.t c. It could be people you hurt so bad that you need to apologize to. At this moment if you snub such leading of the HolySpirit, you become disobedient and it is sin. The HolySpirit is willing to assist you if you pray to Him for grace to make peace with those you have offended.

When the HolySpirit reminds you of something to confess, restitute e.t.c, if you refuse to do it, you will not enter heaven. And yes, the HolySpirit helps a lot if you pray for His assistance in make peace with anyone. He is a Helper in many things.

Pray this morning: Lord Jesus Christ, please forgive me all my sins, come into my life and be my Lord and personal Saviour in Jesus name. Amen.
Attend a good church also.

Happy Sunday to you.

How many can you still remember?
What gladdens God's heart is when you repent of such evil deeds and start a new life one thing is certain: with you out of the number of evildoers evil deeds is on the decrease not increase.
Then from that very moment begin to help those who may fall victim by striving to save them from perpetrators of such evil deeds.

Religion will not and cannot save you or I.
Religion cannot take you or anyone to Eternal life.

ONLY A GENUIE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST Will grant us Eternal Life in Heaven

Listen!
Eternal life is not a matter of your Belief or your choice.
Irrespective of whatever you claim to believe,
Irrespective of how wonderful or good or religious you claim to be.

If you do not BELIEVE AND SURRENDER TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST! YOU ARE HEADING SPEEDILY TO HELL!

You Better be interested for the sake of your soul.

Tolerant and grammars without will DESTROY your soul and throw you into the lake of Fire, Wailing , crying, repenting and gnashing your teeth for ever and Ever.

Hear the Truth. Know the Truth. Submit yourself to the Truth.
Hell Fire is too Horrible and Painful for one to toil with his Soul.

Didn't you hear of the man who returned his WAEC certificate and asked them to cancel his results that he cheated when he wrote WAEC many years ago.

That's true restitution.

Another people that should restitute and get punished are pastors.

A pastor can't casually say on pulpit that he kpai someone or robbed when he was an unbeliever and not get arrested and jailed. That's confession and he should do the time.

Jesus paid it all.

But we listen to the Spirit that guides us within.

But also, as we listen to the Spirit, we have to be careful not to confuse it with the speakings of guilt, as it doesn't produce Christ.

That's the issue with some of you religious people. Why must you force your beliefs on others?

It's illogical to be educated, exposed and still be religious

If u restitute u have a greater ŕeward. I shows how much u have repented and changed ur wicked ways and God will reward that extra effort

Of course restitution is necessary. Even when you sin after becoming born again, you can always restitute

Drop all these Useless Grammars that has nothing to do for your soul.

Run for your Life. Escape for your Life. Sort out the Matter of your Eternity now that you Have the opportunity.
The Breath in you now is an opportunity.
Embrace JESUS quickly before you join the Lamrnters and Wailiers in the Lake of Fire.

There is no one warning me before I'm able to respond to this topic. So much liberality.

Restitution is a difficult path to tread. You cannot restitute it all. So, what happens to the unrestituted hurts and pains?

Penitence and repentance should get you going. In think

Let the HolySpirit lead.
The encounter of Jesus Christ (Prophet Isa in Islam) with the tax collector made it clear that one cannot be saved without doing restitution first.

Sorry to say but this is just your opinion it's not a criteria for the kingdom of God neither is it a doctrine. The only criteria for God's kingdom is
Rom.10.9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom.10.10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Re: Should A Born Again Christian Restitute Or Just Move Forward In Faith? by Fiscus105(m):
Not every time Christian should restitute after repentance, some restitution would damage more than what you taught you want to correct.

Examples. You slept with someone wife, you repented and now go to her husband for restitution.

A married woman committed adultery and go ahead to tell her husband because she wants to restitute.

You are in final year in the university, you now restitute by abandoning your university education and go back to resit WAEC, because you remember you cheated in your WAEC few year back.

You are polygamist before you born again, you are now telling the second wife and her kids to leave your house when there is no single fight between you guys.

All the above and others are too complicated to reverse, doing that, you are not doing it to satisfy God but "gods of men in suits". Hence, sending yourself to religion enslavement.

Even bro Paul admonishing us, we shouldn't be TOO MUCH concern about the laws. Gal:3:19, 1Tim1:9

God speaking through Christ said that your repentance is incomplete without restitution.

Why do you want to make Him a liar huh
