Let The National Assembly - Start The Good Works:
•So,they( National Assembly Members) knows what is Good from Bad?
Why is their Charity Not Starting From Themselves, especially how to Stop Corruption they Mostly Involved in- as Follows:
1- Corruption of Converting Constituency Projects for their Own Pleasure - How Many Years Jail Term?
2- Corruption of taking something during the Yearly Approval of Different Budgets - Federal, Ministries, Agencies and Depts - like in NNPC, Poverty Alieviation Ministry, Agriculture, etc - So how many Years Jail Term?
3- Corruption of Approvals of Executive Ministers - Or Don't they Know that the Masses Can See what is happening?- how many year of Jail Term- go r Offenders.
4-Corruption of Short- Changing the Appointments/ Appointed Officials - but they( Assembly Members) do Insists On their Terms - how many years Jail Term?
5.It is on Record that - Many Transformers,Prepaid Metres, etc, of DISCOS/ Formerly NEPA - are Short-Changed to their Own Areas - at the Expense of the Struggling Masses Who Elected them.-this is Diversion Of Resources - for self?
-Those involved, how many years of Jail Term- For them- both In States and National Assembly?
These are the Areas that they don't touch because they are involved and they will be Pointing Accusing Fingers that Nigeria is Bad! Who is Fooling Who?

What about electoral malpractice? How many years should they get without the option of fine? What about Public financial malpractice? How many years should they get, without the option of fine or plea bargain?
It should go round

I am fully in support of this. We need to clean up our education system. Just that some people have gone away with it and the legislation wouldn't affect them in anyway.

Schools and various exam bodies are managing the issue well already, must you put your hand into all issues even when it's not necessary
Many of those lawmakers also involved in exam malpractice when they were in school...so they are hyprocites

You are supporting nonsense sir . Jail term for under 18? Are we officially moving mad in this country? They are not sanitizing the thieves stealing our commonwealth by jailing them for 100 years . Whoever is sponsoring this bill and all its supporters should be jailed for 1 week for this nonsense .

Nigerian laws will continue to fail because the lawmakers themselves are both lawbreakers and offenders. If we will tell ourselves the truth, 70% of the law makers used fake Certificates, cheats in the exams and even buy for their Children/wards.

Let's take a case study, it's mandatory for candidates seeking admission into any Nigerian tertiary institution to have credit pass in English Language and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings in their O'Level result.

How many of our leaders children failed? Is it that they "know book" more than others? Why do they make it at 1st attempt and also get admitted into choice course of study?

The law is made for the poor.

Useless law. Instead of jailing the rogues that are really cheating within the rulers.

If the student is 18 at that time, he or she will be 23 after serving his or her term. Is that progressive?

This law is long overdue. The reason it's not getting the support of the masses is because the average Nigerian has been swimming in and graduated from malpractices. People That DON'T engage in malpractices are in the minority. In My opinion, that's the cradle of corruption that is taking us backwards.
Perfectly on point!!
Looking at the value chain of corruption from cradle to grave it's crystal clear the incipient stage is from educational institutions in form of exam malpractice.

What kind of dullards do we have as law makers.

5 years where? In our already overcrowded prison system undecided

What happened to community service or fines or other forms of punishments that can benefit the society not turn a soft criminal into a hardened criminal
