Go read your Bible quotation properly for better understanding.

Poverty is a curse. Infact poverty is a demon.

But God never hates poor people, but hates their poverty.

Jesus didn't just identify with the rich, he also visited the poor.

You are increasingly contradicting yourself.

1) Jesus had at least 120 disciples (Acts 1:15), and out of his many disciples he picked 12 men as APOSTLES (Luke 6:13)

2) The scripture you so erroneously interpreted has nothing to do with Jesus rejecting the rich man, but it points to the fact that the man was not willing let go of his earthly wealth, and replace it with godly discipleship
