Nigeria is a complete lawless State! You can imagine a government official saying this and he will still retain his appointment!

Why is this man giving Nigeria a bad image and name, does he know that these opprobrious statement contribute to the negative perception of Nigeria and shape the foreign policies of other nations !

Why can't the president caution this man, Nigeria is not made up of him and rivers state, he should stop giving politics a bitter experience...... Haba!

impeachment follows a constitutional process, not personal vendettas or political drama. Without the active cooperation of the State Chief Judge, that process cannot even begin, let alone be completed legally.

No matter the level of influence or power anyone thinks they hold, at the end of the day, power belongs to God, and no man can override divine order. It’s good to remember that positions are temporary, but integrity and justice last longer.

In one breathe Wike say the case is in court, and with the same breath he says Sim must go. Who is he to insist a duly elected Governor must leave? Is it because the ''boy'' he raised has now decided to become a man and stand up to his tyranny? When he was playing Lord and Master with Rivers State, acting as an Emperor/Dictator who challenged him for the 8 years he was in charge? The world has records of bigger and more dangerous dictators who thought the world was their backyard; where are most of them now? Ghenghis Khan, Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin Dada, Mobutu Sese seko, Charles Taylor, Samuel Doe, even Gen Sani Abacha who was begged by the so called five political parties in Nigeria to transform to Civilian president from Military Ruler, they ALL had their loft selfish dreams truncated. Truth be told, with the judiciary refusing to give judgement on the case relating to party membership of the Rivers legislators, the gang-up against Fubara had reached a crescendo. He was almost impeached. He didn't have up to 2 weeks left before impeachment. And once you are impeached, you're impeached. The rest would have been mere legal brouhaha as we know in Nigeria.

Guess who would have been the Acting Governor for 3 months? The Speaker.

So I'm thinking that Tinubu gave Governor Fubara a lifeline by coming in with a State of Emergency. The actual person that was saved is the Governor Fubara himself. He should attest to that fact, because at a point, he was just waiting for the evil day to come after he was queried for gross misconduct. The House had reversed all this appointments and asked him to present nominees again for confirmation. What about the budget? It was nullified. How was Fubara going to function in office as a governor? His days were numbered. Next time, let godfathers stop imposing candidates on a state. If you're the beneficiary, know that you're sitting on a better candidate's seat. Both the godfather and the godson are supposed to be in jail if they both agreed that there was an imposition.

For now, as long as the Administrator does not over-act, as long as he's not acting the script of any politician (I sincerely doubt), then Fubara has enough time to save himself NOW.

Whatever happens in Rivers at the end of the day will be a lesson for those who believe they can joke with the people's mandate and get away with it. The judiciary has brought more problem to this country than any other arm of government. Why did the judiciary refuse to give judgement on whether lawmakers who swore under oath that they are no more members of a certain party still belong to that party. If they are no more in that party, were they supposed to retain their seats? Or the affidavits, are they inconsequential. The Judiciary is pooping all over this country, naked.

Your time will soon expire, while sim will bounce back and complete his tenure and go for second term.Here sim is the real politician who have the interest of river's ppl at heart not you who sell their interest for your stomach infrastructure.

Rivers state is led by PDP. The Governor is a PDP man. The legislators claim to belong to PDP. Wike claims to belong to PDP. Who is the head of the ruling government in Rivers state? Fubara, the governor. Who is the opposition? Wike. At least he clearly stated that. So by your own words, Wike is the one sponsoring insecurity and terrorism in Rivers state, as he is the opposition to the Governor.

Learn, so that you will not keep disgracing yourself so much like this on Nairaland.

One of the most damaging things a person can do to their mental health is to tell barefaced lies and then attempt to convince themselves they are true. Such self-deception is a guaranteed path to psychological ruin.

Now, le's look at it, did the legislators in question create an enabling environment for Governor Fubara to work harmoniously with them? These are the very same legislators openly loyal to Wike a man who has publicly declared his intent to remove Fubara using this same legislators.

So I ask you, if you were in Fubara’s position, would you have allowed it? Would Wike, during his own tenure as governor, have tolerated such open sabotage from within the House? Let’s not pretend we don’t know the answer.

The truth is that Wike is the root cause of the political unrest in Rivers State. And he is emboldened by the protection and patronage of the Tinubu-led federal government a government that has handed him a seat at the Federal Executive Council. It is this backing that empowers him to meddle, disrupt, and destabilize governance in Rivers State with impunity.

Let me be clear: if President Tinubu were to dismiss Wike from his ministerial position today and issue a firm directive for him to cease all interference in Rivers State affairs, this crisis would swiftly come to an end. But that will not happen because their alliance is built on mutual self-interest, not the welfare of the people they claim to serve.
