Now that Crypto is fully legalized in Nigeria, let's start tagging Binance on X to bring back p2p
Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Prophetkelly(m): 7:24pm On Apr 19, 2025
Cards will be enabled na and Exchanges will go back to their first deposit mode. Generating account number to deposit into.

Personally, I think p2p will be scrapped because there won't be need for that again.

If cards are enabled, I think the Exchange rate will be OMO. See for example Providus platinum prepaid card rate as at then.

I feel comfortable with Binance. Some days ago, buy usdt on Bybit, not a good experience. I almost forgot about the transaction as scammers has taken over big time

Shitcoins is about to pump!
In this bear trap, if your coin doesn’t pump from now till May 25th… or latest early June

Just know that you are carrying a bag of shit!
And when the next dump happens, it will be brutal

Don’t expect it to reach your entry point

Cut some losses

Trim your portfolio … don’t be like ejo wewe and have 100 tokens or coins on your wallet grin

Most of what you could possibly ask me are what I must have already said in my past posts. Just take your time because it takes a lot of time to get good at anything.

So for you just starting with volume, it will take time like any other thing one wants to get good at.

You can use any timeframe, as long as you know what you are looking for. And don't make the mistake of having a bias on where price should or would go, that mistake will make you start looking only for buys or sells and your brain would start looking for only clues that supports that bias even if something else is about to happen in your eyes.

Have you ever wondered, when you start focusing your attention on a particular type of car, that's when you start seeing that car everywhere you go? Keep your mind and brain free of any bias whatsoever daily, what's happening now, right now? Price gets to a resistance, don't start looking for selling signals, let it show you it wants to sell before you make that decision.
I've been reading up on that link you sent from Forex Factory by Don Pato and he's saying that the Fx market doesn't have a Centralized exchange hence volume will differ from broker to broker.

Seeing as its mostly Gold, Nas 100 and Us30 with very little currencies I trade, how do we navigate this boss??

I'm still watching some YouTube videos to understand the concept of Volume better and know how to interpret it.

Thanks very much for this sir.

In the spirit of enlightenment. Check these two charts up, I'm sorry it's not a crypto pair, just trying to use it as an illustration.
The first chart is the naked chart which is meant to convince the average PA traders into believing price could continue moving up. They'd say the trend is up, price has retraced and it's now heading up for continuation. Etc.

Bring out your Fibz and put it, you'd see it reacting to one of the levels, then you might be inclined to enter long with the hope of a continuation.

Now Check chart 2 with the volume indicator: If you are interested in buying and you saw this dying buying volume. Would you still be interested in buying even if your Fibonacci, Moving Averages, Stochastics are telling you to buy?

Just think about it again, stay blessed and have a wonderful weekend.
This is looking like the distribution phase in the wycof law. Smart money's are preparing to sell their position in the market. I'm just saying sha, it's just something I just learnt, and also trying it out. But I'm happy I'm learning more from guru's here.

Why I Chose to Specialize in Bitcoin

I decided to take crypto seriously and become a Bitcoin specialist because in life, rewards follow mastery. Whatever you specialize in—with consistency and diligence—is where you'll be rewarded.

Crypto, at its core, is a game between two types of people: the emotional and the manipulators.

The manipulators have the money and the patience. The emotional have smaller capital and are desperate not to lose it—so desperate to multiply it quickly that, ironically, they lose it all.

The manipulators—institutions, big players—wait for the perfect moment. And if that moment doesn't show up, they manufacture it. By the time they strike, the emotional participants have already FOMOed in or are trapped at a loss.

So I chose a different path:
I decided to master my emotions so I wouldn’t end up among the impatient. And I committed to studying the manipulators—so I could follow them quietly from behind.

Crypto operates on a four-year cycle. I break it down like this:
The Buy Year,
The Buy-More Year,
The Relax Year,
The Sell Year.

The Relax Year is the year of the halving—it usually happens in Q2 of that year.

The smartest move? Develop a unique strategy for each of these years. That’s what I’ve done. Now, every year is a year of opportunity. I don’t fear the space anymore—I understand it.

If you truly want to succeed in this space, develop patience (most important), have backups (second most important) and build a strategy tailored to each year. That’s how you take this industry seriously.

Though, in the beginning of your journey, it's always from meme to meme, alts to alts, etc. As you grow, you'll understand it's time to switch to BTC and top 20 or even top 10 from experience.

Tick volumes is usually the same accross most brokers, with little variations, that shouldn't affect the results too much. I've said the same thing in one of my previous posts here too, about Coinbase, and Binance tick volumes bar will have very minute variations, but that's it, it's usually very small or the same most of the time that it shouldn't cause too much confusion.

You know most of us are mostly doing the same thing, using whatever method we are good at to find a reason to make a trading decision at every point in time.

I just don't just like using too much rules or trying to complicate something that's meant to be a simple decision. Am I buying here or selling here? Why should I sell? Why should I buy? Is it better I stay out?

Whatever method is it you are learning, make sure it's the only thing you learn and be very proficient at it. That's all that matters.

Alright boss thanks very much.

One question please :

Don Pato is of the opinion that one takes trades from the daily time frame as this takes Cognizance of the the daily volumes across the different sessions and times of the market.

Are you of the same view also or what do you propose sir??

And lastly, if you could, take a look at Aud/usd charts on the daily time frame and tell me what you think boss.

Thanks very much for everything sir.

He opened my eyes to what one can do when you understand how the tick volume indicator works. I'm sorry but you ask so many questions I've already answered in my previous post if only you would just take your time to read.

I'm mostly active here on weekends, market reopens again tomorrow, and I might not be able to answer like I'm doing now till Friday again.

Don Pato believes the gap time that happens between change of sessions will affect some of the signal one gets. Which I explained to you already yesterday about how you take session times into consideration before making a decision, what time of the day are we? Is there any news coming up? What time of the session etc. I explained all these already, and you are just making me repeat them over again.

Don Pato trades the emini futures as an intra-day trader because they offer true volumes there, and only use forex as his savings account because there's no real volume and that might affect the accuracy of his results.

You make that decision for yourself, are you comfortable swinging or day-trading?

Thank you very much sir for the tip. I'm just starting out in crypto, and I would say I'm really seeing shege in this crypto world. Keep blowing my account all the time, sometimes it's inpatient and greed, I want to make huge profit at a short amount of time. I just keep using many strategies that ends up complicating things for me, but I just have to sacrifice time and money to find a good strategy that works for me and follow it. Thank you very much for your inputs.

After much consolidation, and zigzag through the previous week.

The next likely level for Bitcoin depends on whether it breaks resistance at $85K-$86k or falls below support at $81K.

A bullish case targets $87K-89k.
