Why The Old Testament Laws and commandments Are The Best by MindHacker9009(op):
The Old Testament laws and commandments are the best, because they are both the laws of the God of Israel and at the same time the laws of the nation of Israel. So once you keep the Old Testament laws you are also keeping the Laws of the God of the Nation of Israel and at the same time keeping the laws of the nation of Israel.

In contrast, the New Covenant represents the law of the Second Coming, not the legal system of any nation in which you currently reside. Therefore, it's important to be aware of the laws of the country you live in, as they are distinct from the spiritual laws of the New Covenant, until the time of the second coming.

They have a massive contribution because they didn’t fill their heads with myths…
I have Israeli friends, they don’t own a bible… they use their brains to think

And it’s so dumb for a west African empty head like you to sit down and be diving deep into Israeli ancient mythology they don’t even care about ..

What a shame…

All that a dumb west African empty head like you is only good at saying is my Israeli friends without knowing the history of the technologies you are using today and how the Israelis have contributed to it with mystical Israeli knowledge.

For your information Israeli's mystical knowledge has contributed immensely to the science and technology you are using today, but a dumb west African empty head like you does not know this, but only good at saying that they have Israeli friends.

A dumb west African empty head like you does not know that the core of science and technology are based on European,Israelis and Egyptian mystical knowledge.

Not one but many. But here is one for you:

Achievement: Foundation for Moral and Legal Codes Worldwide
The Old Law, particularly the Ten Commandments, has had a profound and lasting impact on the development of legal systems and moral philosophy across the globe. It introduced principles such as:

The value of human life ("You shall not murder"wink

Respect for property ("You shall not steal"wink

Truthfulness in society ("You shall not bear false witness"wink

The importance of justice and fairness

The Egyptian laws were to protect the Egyptians only, The Egyptians oppressed the Hebrews, so their laws weren’t built to protect none Egyptians, in fact, it was used to control and enslave none Egyptians.
But the Old Testament Laws and Commandments are for the whole world not just for Israel.

Why did Israelites killed the inhabitants of Jericho and Amalek? undecided

MaxIntheHouse2:

The Israelites’ actions in Jericho and against Amalek were commanded by God as part of His judgment on those nations for their extreme wickedness. These weren’t random acts of violence — they were specific, one-time instructions during a unique period in history.

In the case of Jericho, the Canaanites were known for widespread idolatry, child sacrifice, and immoral practices. According to the Bible, God gave them hundreds of years to repent (Genesis 15:16), but they persisted in their sin. The destruction of Jericho (Joshua 6) was part of God’s judgment and also a way to protect Israel from being influenced by those same corrupt practices.

With Amalek, their judgment was also because of sin — specifically their attack on the Israelites when they were weak and vulnerable during the Exodus (Exodus 17:8-16, Deuteronomy 25:17-19). God told Israel to remember that evil and, in time, to act as His instrument of justice (1 Samuel 15).

These events are hard to understand from a modern perspective, but in their historical and spiritual context, they reflect both God's justice and His plan to establish a people who would eventually bring blessing and salvation to the world.

Samson killed Philistines as part of his calling from God to deliver Israel from Philistine oppression. The Philistines were ruling over Israel at the time and Samson was chosen by God to begin freeing his people (Judges 13:5).

You're making some sense.

But the thing is, Israel or any other country, religious laws, culture/tradition and a country's law should align to a great extent, if they don't, it's either the religion is flawed or the law of the country is flawed. For example, thou shalt not kill, bear false witness etc is a sensible law and applicable in and out of religion. Religious laws and country's laws should align, same with science, historical facts and religious details. If they don't, then likely one of them is wrong.

For the NT as you mentioned, it didn't contradict sensible law, only took it deeper e.g it says don't look at a woman to lust after her, although no secular law cares about what you do with you eyes but if you're able to keep that NT law, it will be easier to keep the law of your country. NT also has a fundamental law of love, if everyone can love according to the NT, breaking the secular law of your country will be impossible, so eventually, religious laws either NT or OT still aligns with any sensible laws of any country.
The NT law that says "don't look at a woman to lust after her" but does not mention the solution to how a man with a functioning manhood can control his desire to put it to action when it gets hard. The NT laws are just there to make their followers to be confused, that's why those that are preaching the NT laws cannot abide by it themselves.

The Old Testament and it's Oral traditions are really the Real Testament and not Old at all. It does make provision on how to find a spouse.

Talmud (Oral Law): Rich in Wisdom
The Talmud is where things get more practical:

Kiddushin 1:1 specifies that a woman is acquired (i.e., to be a wife) in three ways: through money, a contract or sexual intercourse. Ordinarily, all three of these conditions are satisfied, although only one is necessary to effect a binding marriage.

Sotah 2a – “Forty days before the formation of a child, a heavenly voice proclaims: ‘The daughter of so-and-so is for so-and-so.’”
This suggests a kind of “soulmate” concept (in Hebrew, bashert), that marriages are divinely influenced.

Kiddushin 41a – “A man should not marry a woman until he has seen her.”
This is an early acknowledgment of the importance of personal compatibility and mutual attraction.

Also on divorce:
Finding your bashert doesn't mean that your marriage will be trouble-free. Marriage, like everything worthwhile in life, requires dedication, effort and energy. Even when two people are meant for each other, it is possible for them to ruin their marriage. That is why Judaism allows divorce if it's the only solution.

That is why Judaism allows divorce.
This is straight from the Torah:
Deuteronomy 24:1:
“When a man takes a wife and marries her... and she does not find favor in his eyes... he shall write her a bill of divorce (get).”

And in the Talmud:
Gittin 90a – Discusses when and why divorce is permitted, even though it’s not taken lightly.
“Even the altar sheds tears when a man divorces his first wife.”
This shows the pain of divorce, but also acknowledges its necessity.
