How many displaced and needy people can you take in? Jesus said the needy and the poor you will always have with you, but me you will not. That’s imperative. It implies that you can’t take in all the needy - that’s foolhardy. You can only help others when you’ve done enough to help yourself!

Every requirement was met but of course the VO thought there was no compelling evidence that the student would return to Nigeria upon graduation. So it could be true that having family in the USA might be a disadvantage. Makes sense.
