High in terms of nominal value but in terms of the true value of profit made (factoring inflation) it was the lowest in 12 years. If u make 200k in 2015 it is now equivalent to making N2.5m today. Thats how bad apc has destroyed our nation. |

Funny how you can't keep N1000 in the same bank for one month and expect to see the same amount. They will reduce it to N800 or N700. Why won't they declare profits upandan? |

Our traditional banks, real estate industry and telecos are the most favoured businesses in Nigeria. Tech is gradually coming up, but poor government investment isn't helping the industry. |

Parrot69:*Wrong Information on Social Media. •Govt don't Control Banks, especially where they are quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange ( NSE) -These Banks are Owned By Individuals INVESTORS - who Placed Their Money -For The Bank To Use and they ( Investors) In turn Get Rewards ( Dividend) on yearly basis. •You too can Invest Your Money 💰 in these Banks, instead of the wrong Perceptions that they are reaping the Poor. For When the Bank Grows 🪴,you grow - your money grows too,as you have a Stake in it. Govt will Only comes in,through CBN,if and when the Banks Management is Not doing well - to Protect the Bank from going down and so far, Nigeria Banks are doing Fantastically Well and that is why you see Investors - from Local and Abroad- coming to Invest in them. Kudos to First Bank, for Not Disappointing In huge Returns to the Investors and you can expect the PRICE of it's Stocks to go up higher. |

Mynd44:Yes. Oba Otudeko with his analog brain almost ruined that Bank with his incessant loans & debt until Femi Otedola came on board. Femi Otedola should never ever tolerate the excesses of Oba Otudeko and his lackeys running that Bank as if it is their inheritance. |

Moroccoguy:💯 Nigerian banks are not in any ways favorable to the masses. Instead of your money to yield interest as it was in the 90s , na to dey debit u. Small small change that you won't even take note until you want to withdraw, u no see your money is short. Too bad. And they are declaring huge profit by exploiting Nigerians. Tuee |
