So, IMF apologized?,Lol. Who gave them the initial fake and unsubstantiated data before?, maybe a mad man gave them like someone from Agulu. You can't come here to talk nonsense and downgrade an economy that's stabilizing, an economy that Fitch rating upgraded, Chattam House upgraded, JP Morgan upgraded, even this same IMF had recently said the reforms would help Nigeria withstand the current global shocks. So, what was IMF smoking?. And then some wailers had their tails up and even compared Nigeria to Argentina. You see, these wailers, they are largely a bunch of educated illiterates. How can you compare Nigeria's recovery with that of Argentina's crippling economy?. Half the population of Argentina are below the poverty line, inflation is almost 60%, unemployment rate is skyrocketing, Argentina's foreign reserves is $22million, Argentina President is crawling on his knees to IMF for a $20billion loan to tackle inflation, and some illiterates parading themselves as social media critics or opposition are comparing that kind of economy with us?. If shamelessness was a human, Nigerian wailers will be it. After God, na Tinubu 💪 God bless Nigeria |

The apology cured the hunger in Nigeria, it immediately reversed the hyper inflation and improved power supply. Thank you IMF for making us believe we are well fed, even as most people are going to bed hungry. |

IMF don kolotoureee. They just gather NGO to give data which even they themselves cannot explain. How can anyone say Nigeria GDP is $187b? Dangote industries and the output alone added over $30bn to our GDP so I am surprised you’re saying our GDP is 1/3. Nobody needs their apology. NBS will release our rebased GDP soon and IMF themselves will announce Nigeria as the largest economy in Africa.

Did they reverse the numbers? If not, then you can shove the apology up in the place where the sun does not see, while waving your broom. Numbers are numbers and they have no sentiments. |

What's my business with IMF apology. Not only me, nothing concern most Nigerian with IMF. Are Nigerians hungry? Yes Are things harder now than it used to be 4yrs ago? Yes Has insurgency ended? No Is price of petrol X 5 of what it used to be less than 2yrs ago? Yes Are the prices of commodies still going up? Yes Is the price of petrol coming down anytime soon? No Is naira to dollar 713? No These are things that concerns Nigerian not IMF apology. |

What are they apologizing for? They should come forward and defend their data. They should tell us their source and methodology used. If not, Tinubu and his economic co-travellers will rocket the GDP to $500 billion while Nigerians keep suffering. |
