It’s being over 70 Days since I took the last tablet of Tramadol . Before then i was completely consumed by the poison! But after I had the last seizure! I told my myself am done! I told myself I choose life over death. To make this a reality, I had to make conscious steps, one of these steps is to be around family, since they are aware of my struggle they accepted and supported me wholeheartedly. This really helped me during the first weeks of withdrawal. Another step I took was to let God help me, I cried to him to help that I was truly tired, you see, one thing that really scared me about stopping TRAMADOL was the insomnia, If I don’t take Tramadol I can’t sleep. So I was really scared about this. but God helped me by giving me the Energy and motivation of going to the Gym, so the very first day I stopped I was in the gym. So after workouts my body will break down and I will be able to sleep all through the night. It was a miracle, God really helped me get good sleep. I must say the only problem i struggled with was just the cravings. The withdrawal symptoms were not very evident. Considering the fact that I quit Cold Turkey and from daily Use of nothing less than 1500MG - The transition to sobriety was seamless and easy without any use of alcohol or weed or any other drugs was indeed a MIRACLE. Along the way I came to fall Inlove with books and setting up a daily routine this has helped me managed my time daily. I know 78 days is still very early to say am fully over the addiction but this time last year I never imagined I could stay 1 day without Tramadol. So it’s a miracle. All Glory be to God

The journey to recovery goes thus

Sobriety ----> recovery -----> sobriety ------> staying stopped


From what I can see, you're done with the first two and on the second phase of sobriety. This means consciously avoiding remote situations that could bring about suggestions or opportunities for you to even consider using

Let me give you an example. I know someone who was sober for like 3 months then one day he met a girl and wanted to impress her on the bed and took TM and just like that he was back in.
