By popular demand, we have ended the swearing of oaths before commenting on the Islam section.

However, the requirement to engage muslims and all Nairalanders with decency and respect remains.

We have promoted the Islam section to the top level because Islam is as important as Christianity..

We have renamed the Religion board as the Christianity Etc board, recognizing the fact that most non-Muslims are Christians.

Nice gesture, although I would like to point something out. The fact that you said 50% of Nigerians are Muslims does not automatically translate to 50% of your active forum users/visitors being Muslims.

Mr Seun, you are wrong to assume that most non-Muslims are Christians.
A very significant percentage of Nigerians are African Traditional worshippers, Irreligious and Atheists

Honestly, it wasn't impressive having to swear on one religion page and being free to comment on another without prejudice.

Seun you've done well by removing that wicked oath swearing thing. Many who comment in that Muslim section vent their anger, not because they dislike Muslims but just because you subject them to swear to something they don't actually practice. It is illogical to place a condition on one and have an open practice on the other.

It should stand alone like Islam does otherwise i see a useless bias that you an atheist promotes.

Since you are elevating consciousness, if Islam and Christianity have their own section, justice and equity also demands that Traditional Religion section and Nonreligious section should be created too.

It's actually an insult to classify traditional religious and Nonreligious people as "etc..." under the Christianity section, as if they're the same.
