Most comments so far support what he's saying ... to snatch or maintain power divide and conquer has been proven to be most effective. He is warning us about it ...but yet we remain blind. So many are against his message because he is not if their party ...tribe..or religion. They have not attached his message ....but attacked him.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been in Nigeria's political space for a very long time; and I expect that he should understand what it means when people say the south still has four more years to complete the southern presidency, based on the principle of power rotation between northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria. Failure to recognize this is considered greedy on his part.

Therefore, the coalition should support a southern candidate in the person of Peter Obi. I still believe a Peter Obi/El-Rufai or Peter Obi/Kwankwaso ticket will dislodge Tinubu even before 5pm on election day.

Two terms will be an issue of interest to the north, so, I prefer Jonathan/el-rufai ticket

What are you going to do differently that is the most important thing because the subsidy removal and floating of naira that Tinubu is implementing that brought present hardship is what you too promise to implement if voted for. Maybe the only difference is that you are going to sell off NNPC but nitel and NEPA you sold when you're VP,nitel has died while NEPA is on life support.

I must say this is probably the 1st statement by Atiku that actually sounds like a proper opposition leader….like someone who was actually a vice president of a country. Ofcourse he will say Tinubu has acheived nothing…that’s the job of an opposition leader. But. This is the 1st statement he has released that isn’t petty and unbecoming. It seems he has finally learnt how to talk like an opposition leader instead of releasing statements in order to keep up with Obi. Though not original, I also acknowledge how he is now framing the election as a battle between Tinubu and Nigerians. Maybe he has finally realizes copying Obi’s attention at all costs, gutter, brain dead, race to the bottom style will only lead him to the gutter and he must set the example for Obi not be led by Obi in his public statements. Uptill now it had seemed he just make statements because Obi made a statement and not to be forgotten.

Aptly said my bro. Beside Atiku is NOT a politician at all, he doesn't know the game of politics is just been fortunate to have climbed higher in shortest riding of political legacy of Yaradua and co.

The moment he failed to choose VP right and also allowing Peter Obi to leave PDP in last election , I knew that the man is da*t. Politics is about give and take and strategic calculation. 2.) Peter Obi want to return peace to Southeast and stabilize Southeast, end the decades of political marginalization of Southeast so that agitation for secession by Igbos can stop, so that he can be remembered for good by Igbos.


3.) To make Northerners and other Nigerians understand that they made huge mistake sidelining Igbos in national politics and not allowing a credible Igbo person emerge Nigeria's President by being fair to all regions of Nigeria and making sure every region harness the best of the resources they are blessed with; massive investment in agriculture for North, etc, and massive investment in Tech with a focus on Lagos, Oyo, Edo, Enugu and Plateau.



Total revamping of Nigeria's health sector through investment in Nursing and medical colleges so they can produce more competent healthcare professionals that Nigeria can export abroad to earn forex.


4.) He wanted to end insecurity with a secret plan I will not share here.



Nigeria missed a lot sha, God will help una for there.



Meanwhile, if Atiku and El Rufai truly want to bury Bola Tinubu's 2027 Presidential ambition, they should hurry up and announce Peter Obi as their preferred Presidential candidate for the coalition, making it clear that Northern Nigerians will throw their support behind Obi in order to rescue Nigeria from poverty, insecurity and eventual collapse due to nepotism of the incumbent President.


Once they do this and start massive orientation of their people in the North, Tinubu will become a gunner, Tinubu and his allies will be thrown into confusion because no amount of rigging will make Tinubu win once this is done.


But if Atiku thinks he can be the Presidential candidate of the so called coalition, then they should be assured that Tinubu will win hands down even without rigging.

That will never happen. Atiku will rather lose than support Obi's presidency. Northern political Fulani elites will not support an Igbo presidency, the other ethnicity might give Obi part of thier votes but the fulanis will ultimately inflate thier own votes to make the votes from other ethnicity inconsequential.
