➜Thanks in million!!! This was the advice from the office of OYO STATE GOVERNMENT, I sent a message and this was the reply I got, though I was directed to THE MINISTRY OF WOMEN AFFAIRS AND SOCIAL INCLUSIONS, ONIREKE, I was given a phone number of an officer on level 17
The man also directed me to an officer, who's currently handling the situation. We are probably going to meet on 5/5/ 2025. Especially on the education of the children.
If u are in IBADAN, I will want u to be present
I am not in the area at all so I am afraid I can't be present for the hearing. I do hope that you will, from now on, man up and become a true father to those children who you rightly pointed out are in need of a more responsible and resourceful parent in their lives. undecided

Per term (13 weeks)
Na wah, being born in naija is already a disadvantge, an own goal, being taken care of properly, stable environment, educated gives a fighting chance out of default poverty for a kid.
Who wants his child to go to a N2,500-6000 school for goodness sake? Chisos! And you say you sent the mama money for school enrolment, 30k for 3 kids, as oga sabinus will say CHISOS! chisos!.
Bros you can do better, put in more effort to secure the future of those innocent kids.
On the alternative, you know society will always need drivers, bus conductors, house helps, manual labourers etc just as we need doctors, civil servants, engineers, traders. Society needs people to fill those roles. Some folks might not mind their offsprings being the first group I mentioned, afterall agberos seem to be the richest folks around these days thanks to empowerment by apc and oga at the top. There is hope when you consider people like Mr Oluomo.

Can u put me through? I mean family court
Go to Oyo State high court, ask them where family court is located, wen they describe it for you, go to the venue, ask for people in charge, tell them you want to file a case. They would tell you what to do.

Meanwhile, you can also go back to ministry of women affairs, tell them to direct you to family court, that you want to charge your wife to court.

I enrolled her in a computer center but she complained about the starting of the generator after 3 months, I asked her to learn hairdressing but she told me it's NOT in line with SUNNAH of prophet Muhammad, I had wanted to set-up a UNISEX SALON because I'm a barber, teacher, an examiner
There are big differences in views between the two of you; religion being among.

Good evening, ma

Is it possible to file for divorce through Ministry of Women affairs and social inclusions?

I have been manipulated by my "wife", in quote because I didn't pay her bride price, I did an introduction and they collected an EMPIRE BASKET full of fruits

We had 3 children together but my wife is JOBLESS and DESTRUCTIVE at the same time (double tragedy) I had set up a business for her on 3 different occasions but failed, I even sold my car and gave her the money without taking a dime.

We had a misunderstanding on 26/11/2024 and she went to bring civil defense officers to my place of work, on 27th/11/2024 I sent her packing.

They are currently at BARIKA, UI second gate, Ibadan, living with the grandmother. I told her to enrol the children in public schools in IBADAN, I gave her #30,200 in addition to 50 exercise books, school bag, 5kg rice, SALLAH clothe, school sandals. The items were sent through a commercial driver but she lied. I went to IBADAN on 18/4/2025 only to discovered that the children are not in school, they are helping the grandmother to sell OGOGORO in her shop.

I knelt down and begged the grandmother several times, I left IBADAN around 7:20pm and arrived ILORIN around 11:37pm due to heavy downpour. The grandmother is not responding to calls from my family members, even as I speak

I went to SANGO police station but I was told to go to the ministry of women affairs and social inclusions.

A date has been fixed 5/5/2025. I want the children to be enrolled in public schools and I will be sending the necessary writing materials and school fees through the School principal and class teachers
You have mismanaged your life and family so far. What to do? Go to a Customary court and get an order giving you custody of the children (their age range will be a factor). Shi them off to Ilorin with you and begin to live and not drink responsibly!

Empire basket full of fruits... You haven't seen the typical Akwa Ibom marriage list yet..

Anyway, Chairman, You need to work on your finances.

If you had a solid means of catering for yourself and those kids, you would have ordered for them to be brought over to stay with you.

You can't send your children to Afghanistan to live with Talibans, and expect them not to learn how to make bombs.

You weren't married to the lady in the first place, so why seek divorce?

And meanwhile.. Stop this habit of calling women names after years of bliss. She wasn't DESTRUCTIVE when she was birthing children for you.

Learn to accept your mistakes and take responsibility!
World class response!

Where you beating her, cheating on her? What did you do to her that made her bring civil defense corps to you? Sending 30k to her to use for 3 kids in this present economy would be difficult for her to manage. She has 3 kids for you and you're yet to marry her, that shows you are irresponsible. No matter how small the wedding would be, you should have just formalized it. Go and beg her for forgiveness and do the right thing.
If he loves himself, he should never marry her. There are strong signs of incompatibility already

Only 2 children are of school going age, one is in JSS 1 and the other is in primary 2. SUBEB is using TAB across the state to teach these pupils. Don't forget I'm a teacher in one of the public secondary schools in the state. NCE, B.Sc.Ed, Msc in view. I'm a Science pedagogue

The 3rd child is 7 months old.

Thanks for your contribution

What stopped her from acquiring a skill? She has ND in business studies but could not manage small scale businesses and also refused to learn a skill

The fact that the grand mother who was to take care of your children is ogogoro seller should be enough to overlook whatever your wife did, live with your children and train them to your the best of your ability. Those children even though I do not know them are very important to us. Please do the needful ASAP.

1. You sent the educational items through a taxi driver.??
Like,, are there no recognized registered logistics company around you.??

So now,, do you know the taxi driver.?
Can you go back and ask the taxi driver if he really delivered the goods?

((..I guess you don't even know the driver sef..))

..

2. You knelt down and BEGGED the grandmother SEVERAL TIMES.!!

What exactly are you saying while you were begging for WHATEVER you were begging.??

And then, taking them to school.?

They feed first before going to school.

You write very well and are articulate, and I really pity for you in this sad situation of yours.

Please make sure to never forsake your children because if or when you are very wealthy you will always have regrets that you could have done better, even if you marry again and have another set of children, that regret will take a very big part of your heart.

If you can, although very hard for any gender in this economic situation to do alone, but take the children away from your wife and Mother in law and raise them yourself. You seem to be well educated but not that exposed and very unlucky with the spouse you chose.( you may consider resolving if it has not gone far,far is adultery or threat to life)

Infact, probably not yet as financially buoyant as you ought to be, but if you think you can leave your children to go and make money without issues, your children may hate you for abandoning them even if you send them whatever you think they need like money provisions and clothes.

Take them away from your wife and Inlaws if they insist on ruining their lives by exposing them to vices, and train them in the right way by yourself.

That is if you are Man enough.

Ogogoro joint where they will be running other errands like going to buy cigarettes, rizla, snuff, kolanut, weed etc. This could expose them to drug or substance abuse.
