Esthered:
Please for withdrawal from a Mutual fund (FBNQuest), am I supposed to write a handwritten application or a mail can suffice?
If you have the FBNQuest App, redemption on the app should suffice. If you don't, emailing them with your verified email will suffice. They already have your verified account where they will put it.

In setting up account with stanbic ibtc money market funds does it ask for referral code?

Trying to get my nephew to sign up and he's saying it's asking for referral code
What does that mean

I have a stanbic account so I did mine years ago and then it was a form not the Blu nest app
Can be ignored. It will still go through

This depends on the platform you're using. I've used the app and web platform. I've also done my redemption via their branch. It is all easy with Stanbic IBTC.

For the app and web platform, you can simply login using your details, click on redemption/redeem and enter the amount.

If done after 12pm, it might reflect in your bank account the next day. But if done before 12pm, it will reflect in your account the same day.

If you're using their physical branch, you can sinply walk in and ask them for redemption form, fill and submit the form.

Contact their Customer Care to get their Citi Bank Account Number. Then transfer the money to that account and make sure you type only FBNQUEST MMF account number on the remarks/reason for payment column.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been trying to make a partial redemption from my GT Money Market Fund (MMF) but haven’t been successful. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

April 16th (Wednesday): Emailed infoteam@gtfundmanagers.com requesting the redemption procedure. No response.

April 18th (Friday): Sent a follow-up email and copied onyeka.chukwusa@gtfundmanagers.com, asking for a redemption form (based on info I found online). Still no reply.

At this point, I’m considering calling them out on social media and reporting the issue to SEC and other regulatory bodies

Has anyone else experienced such delays with GT Fund Managers? Any advice on how to resolve this faster?

Thanks in advance!
Dont you have an account officer?

Visit their branch. Calmly lay your complaint and be patient through the resolution. However I’ll also advise you to initiate a full termination simultaneously. Liquidate your account with them and never look back. There’s no justification for poor customer service.

Hello house. I recently opened a mutual funds account with Norrenberger. I also funded it.

Please who is currently using Norrenberger for mutual funds and what is the experience with them like.

I'm still new to mutual funds. I funded my mutual funds account today. If I want to invest more money by next month, will the money be used to subscribe a separate unit of MMF or will it be added to my existing mmf money. Please help me understand

@Bossgem, welcome to Norrenberger.

You can top up your MMF any time with any amount from 5k. The amount will be added to your existing capital and interest is always calculated based on the available balance of your MMF account at any point in time.

Good afternoon @Lindaa97. Sincerely I prefer Norrenberger when it comes to dollar fund beacuse of better rate and the fact that they accept naira and do conversion to dollar at the point of investment.

Yes, for Stanbic dollar fund, you need to have the dollar and also have a dom account.

You can chat me up.
Good afternoon, I set up the account with Norrenberger, and upon trying to set up the dollar fund, the customer care support informed me that I have to pay in dollars to their dollar account. meaning that I need USD to fund or access their dollar investments, as they do not do any conversion.

True, that conversion policy just changed of recent.
The window is closed, now customers have to bring in their dollars just like other fund managers do, they have to do the conversion by themselves.

However, the good part is that you can still deposit your dollar cash.
Once you do the conversion, just deposi the cash. It's actually cheaper because Norrenberger conversion rate use to be a little higher than black market rate.

It depends on the fund manager and investment product. Research about the one you are interested in and you'll find all the details you need.

The minimum initial deposit is $550. Subsequent top-ups are money for one unit, which is about $103

Does this Norrenberger dollar mmf operate same like our local currency mmf? I thought their dollar fund investment is different from mmf?

Please note that all dollar funds, including NDF, operate differently from MMF. They don't have the same underlying assets. While MMF assets are TBills and commercial papers, Dollar funds have eurobonds as underlying assets.

In investment categorization with respect to risk, an MMF is low-risk or conservative, while a dollar fund is medium-risk or moderately conservative.
