But then again, make sure u stay celibate all your life.. after all we have sisters and brothers in the convent who have dedicated their lives and will never get married nor have sex.. the moment u think of having sex, then you’re on the sinful path.. No, God will not punish you or send you to hell simply because you don't marry or have children. Marriage and having children are good things, but they are not conditions for God's love, salvation, or your worth. In fact, in the Bible, there are many examples of great men and women of faith who were not recorded as being married or having children, and yet they lived fully for God and fulfilled their purpose. What matters most to God is your heart, your faith, your love for Him and for others, not your marital status. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 22:30 that in the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. That shows that marriage is for this world, not eternity. Salvation is based on your relationship with God through faith, not on whether you marry or have kids. If marriage happens and it's right for you, fine. If it doesn’t, it doesn't make you less loved or less complete in God's eyes. You are already complete in Him. 12 Likes |
