raumdeuter:Same thing can be said for the trump supporters who don’t live in America. So do they know more than 75 million people who voted against him? See how that argument works? Few pages back you said you didn’t care where anybody lives. Maybe only when they are on your team ![]() BTW we officially know who didn’t understand what they voted for. In every interview you ask Trumpers, they all said the foreign countries are supposed to pay the tariffs. So in this instance, It’s not about a foreigner acting like they know more than a US resident, it’s about Trump supporters’ admission in their own words that they didn’t understand what they voted for. |

raumdeuter:The US has a population of ~340 million. Let's be honest, about a 1/4 of the country, consisting of largely undereducated people voted for a man who told them foreign countries paid the cost of tariffs. Your argument that you repeat ad nauseam seems to be that if enough people get fooled and don't use their brains, the decisions they make are correct. It's the same type of argument you'd expect from an undereducated person who got fooled by a conman. It's not surprising you don't talk about the Economic data and the generalized chaos going on right now. Because we can see the effect of his policies real time. And it's not Monday Morning quarterbacking as the people who weren't fooled, didn't vote for him, who understood who paid tariffs, called this before the election. 78million people got conned by a conman including you. And given all the recent polling, a large percentage of them are unhappy and also believe he's doing a poor job. Being a fool who easily gets fooled isn't a flex. |

The words of Jason Riddle on TikTok. I love his honesty about his reasons for supporting Trump. While different people have their different reasons they claim, the bit about enjoying antagonizing others seems like a shared trait. Also if you care about lawfulness and despise criminal activity like you guys like to claim you do, you wouldn’t support Trump’s pardon of J6ers. The hypocrisy is insurmountable on that one. Hi, my name is Jason and I left MAGA. I supported Trump because I enjoyed antagonizing people. I feared responsibility. My alcoholism which became a physical addiction fueled my obsessive behavior. |

There have been more than 60 coordinated attacks on Tesla have resulting in an estimated $20 million in personal property damage and over $460 billion in market cap. One of the most radical groups behind this domestic terrorism movement is The Disruption Project. Well they are funded 💯 by the Tides Network. They even share the same floor in the same building. The prominent donors who fund Tides are David Rockafellor Jr., George Soros and Susan and Nick Pritzker. Which means they are the prominent donors of The Disruption Project. Which means they are the architects of the Tesla Protests. Again, sounds like a good RICO case. |

The brutal animal who was freed by a very "compassionate" judge. Bondi Vows to Prosecute Judges Who Obstruct Trump Admin’s Deportation Efforts She emphasized that these judges would face prosecution for their involvement. Pam Bondi explained that the defendant, who was in court facing charges for domestic violence, had been involved in a violent attack on two individuals, as Breitbart News reported. The victims were severely beaten—one man was hit 30 times, choked, and knocked to the ground, while the woman sustained severe injuries, requiring hospitalization. Despite the brutality of the crimes, the victims were willing to cooperate with the state prosecutor, and they were present in the courtroom during the proceedings. However, the case took a disturbing turn when the judge learned that ICE officers were outside the courthouse, waiting to detain the defendant, who had been deported in 2013 and returned illegally. Upon hearing this, Judge Dugan allegedly left the courtroom, went into the hallway, and confronted the immigration officers, visibly upset. She then instructed them to leave and meet with the chief judge, returning to the courtroom afterward....judge took the defendant and his defense attorney aside, using a private exit to allow them to leave, effectively allowing the criminal to evade ICE arrest, leaving the victims and the prosecutor behind. Someone spin this and blame Drumph . |

raumdeuter:You are an uninformed voter Dayo. You have no understanding of world economics, and the intricacies that make the dollar what it is. You are effectively saying the UK, and all those who hold US dollar debt can choose to go where they want..... and that they are all effectively inconsequential to Americans. It is a catastrophic lack of knowledge of the origins of the wealth you claim to have. You are betting on a side that is sleep-walking its way into a massive devaluation of the dollar, but you have no awareness of this. Yet you hold a handsome portfolio in dollars. That's a classic case of voting against your own interest but having no idea about it. That, Dayo, is an uninformed voter. |

This is a very valid fear. Out of my own mental health preservation I want to believe it will never happen. But never say never right? Who knows what Trump is going to do next? And what if whatever he does is what pushes them to start dumping our currency? I’m taking precautions by getting rid of some stuff with hopes of divesting but who’s to say if the dollar falls that it won’t negatively affect other currencies? I’m no expert in economics but I feel anyone who’s not thought about this being a possibility is not paying attention. nateevs: |

Netherlands sperm donor conundrum Over a year ago, the Netherlands reported numerous sperm mega-donors within the country, leading to fears of accidental incest. The number of these mega-donors seems to keep growing, with the Dutch Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (NVOG) now admitting at least 85 men have fathered 25 or more children. The most infamous Dutch sperm mega-donor is Jonathan Meijer, who is believed to have over 1,000 children and was the subject of a Netflix documentary last year. |

Letitia James lawyer sent a letter to DOJ regarding the Brooklyn house. He describes the house as having a 4th floor. Reality. There is no fourth floor in the building. Lawyer ( being paid by NY AGoffice ) completely misrepresented the unit and it's tenants . Claims her relatives occupied the whole block yet there are tenants on file complaining about leaks , bedbugs and general slum like conditions. https://whitecollarfraud.com/2025/04/25/letitia-james-lawyer-doesnt-understand-the-property-hes-defending/ As sloppy as Letitia. The whole letter is full of falsehoods, this cornered rat won't escape fraud charges. ***Her lawyer also represented Hunter Biden*** |

A friendly reminder about immigration bipartisan bill. For four years Kamala Harris was the designated border Czar. Had she won many would be crossing illegally today while she is spouting bipartisan utopia. Border crisis was a deliberate invasion. 100%.

cococandy:There are several topics to engage in this revelation, it is absolutely shocking. Imagine him asking, a country that holds nearly $800bn in US bonds, how it affects them which President is voted in the United States. Economists will be laughing over that response in several languages. I saw your post a page or two back about quadrupled online prices. I was preparing a response but got sidetracked. Supply chains are heavily disrupted. Container bookings from China are down 60% in April. Those who have stock now got that stock in January/ February.... But no merchant will continue to sell at January/February prices because the prevailing cost to restock warehouse numbers now is old retail price + new tariff cost. Merchants have to cover their arses, so they jack up the prices to cover whatever tariffs would be. So essentially, even though millions of merchants have yet to place orders with new tariff costs on top, prices have already gone up. |

cococandy:More Americans voted for Trump than voted against Trump simple. When someone who doesn't live in America now cry more than the Americans who are directly affected then that's simply being a busybody. I don't care where anyone lives in the context of anyone can lie about where they live. How do I know you live in Washington and not Owerri, how do you know I live in Texas and not Ado Ekiti? We only take what you based on what you say here. If you tomorrow say you live in Buckingham palace and I claim to live in white house then good luck to you. Not running around claiming you don't live where you told us you live That is the smugness of thinking people 78m of them don't know what they voted for? Not like Trump is a new face in politics, he has been running on the same message for the past 10yrs, to claim people don't know or are not intelligent enough after 10yrs to know what they are voting for is peak delusion. People voted for Trump for different reasons and your reason for voting Kamala is not better than theirs. Your life is not superior to theirs |

cococandy:Please fear Ma'am. I called it sleep-walking into it because there is no coherent plan....... or should I say, it only makes sense on paper and all the unintended consequences have been largely overlooked.....but believe it or not, there is a plan. These guys are hell-bent on bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US. The problem, is that they think that the strength of the US dollar is the only impediment to that process. So they want to devalue it, deliberately. Yes. The guy behind these shenanigans is Stephen Miran, the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers to the Trump administration. Miran believes in recreating the 1985 Plaza Accords where Japan, the UK, Germany and France and a few other countries came together and agreed to devalue the dollar........ This time though, all US trading partners should be forced into accepting a weak dollar, in return for security protection by heaping huge tarriffs on their exports to the US. They will also be forced to accept American-made goods. Trump is currently denying that they are following Miran's policy but you can start to see all of the pieces.... pressuring NATO allies, non-stop chatter about trade-deficits, haphazard tarriffs on all and sundry....... you know, just like Project 2025.... piece by piece. For brevity, I cannot go into why I think it's a stupid plan, but please pay attention to this. The devaluation of the dollar might become a reality at the minimum, by accident. |

IjeBos:First thing 340m is not the voting population. The bulk of voters chose Trump, he won the electoral college, won more states, won all the swing states It's only an extremely foolish person who thinks his own choice is better than the other people's choice. They listened to both candidates and made their choice, you did the same based on what matters to you, others did the same but extremely foolish people think their own choice is superior The same type of people who believed that illegal immigration was not a problem, the same set of people who believed the economy was doing great under Biden for 4yrs, the same set of people who believed men should play in women sports, the same set of people who believed it's okay for Americans to subsidize every country in the world at the expense of its own citizen When they didn't vote Trump 4yrs ago they were not fools but when they evaluated his 4yrs vs Biden 4yrs and said they preferred Trump, they suddenly became fools I agree with you being a fool is not a flex, now add being delusional on top of it |

nateevs:Adepase you are a peak deluded analyst who thinks your opinion and choices in a country you do not live are superior to those 78m who live in it work there and chose Trump You are the one with no understanding of what you are posting Those holding US dollar debt are not forced to do it and can decide to hold any currency they want. Some BRICS nation are already debating going for a different currency beside the Dollar and no one is begging them to do otherwise The level of self delusion to think your country runs its economic policy to favor America and not its citizens is ludacris |

raumdeuter:You are the one who keeps coming back with the 78m talk. You want to inject a huge number to the discourse to bolster your position. If 78m voted, surely they are all not dumb. This is your pattern of thinking. A huge percentage of those 78m are conservatives. Mostly conservatives vote on ideology, not on facts. So yes, 78m people could be largely wrong on many issues. But I digress, as that's not the centre of this debate. My problem was with you. You particularly. You casually said any country can choose leave the dollar as reserve currency. You said that with the lack of knowledge that the strength of the dollar is underpinned by the number of countries that buy US bonds. This is the same currency you hold a huge portfolio in. A few weeks ago, you were spelling PROSPERITY in caps. But it is now apparent, that you don't understanding what makes this prosperity even possible. You called countries that sustain US borrowing, which in turn keeps your internal interest rates steady "inconsequential" ..... but you invest in property. This means you don't understand that if (for argument sake), the UK, Luxembourg and Japan were to dump all their US dollar debts (as you proposed), your interest rates are immediately affected, which immediately bumps up the cost of credit in the US, which immediately affects you. So the question is, is the UK really inconsequential as you claimed... or are you just regurgitating the nonsense you heard at the Trump rallies? Did you know that the actions of the so-called inconsequential can have a direct impact on inflation and interest rates in the US? No you didn't. Because if you did, you will shut your MAGA brain down and engage FACTS! On the other hand, if my country were to be forced by the US into a situation where they had to dump US debt, that affects me personally as a business man. So you have little understanding of what your talk about, when you tell me that I have no interests in following and commenting passionately about the issues. I haven't even mentioned the effects on Oil, Gas, or geo-political concerns. The summary of this is that only an uninformed voter will come to the conclusion that some countries are inconsequential to the US, when said countries are directly responsible for the strength of the dollar that builds your wealth. Only an uninformed voter. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by basilico: 2:14pm On Apr 27, 2025 |
Nateevs2:Why would UK dump the debt, was my question. It doesn't have good returns or to punish Trump? If it's about bad returns who will buy a massive $800B of debt knowing the dollar will crash any time. In other words ,you hold America debt. You are stuck with it, you not selling it to noone. The UK earns around 4.42% yield from the 10 year US Treasury Bonds . That works out to $36B annually. The UK will just dump this golden goose to spite Trump. |
