Good man, I know only you have enough conscience to state the obvious. A young Nigerian girl was abducted in Lagos by unknown persons because of this JAMB inefficiency. Thank God she was found safely.

Attached is the exam notice slip stating clearly that the exam will hold by 6.30 am.

This is the president we voted for, a man with empathy, a man with vision, a man that loves everyone and can give us the best of governance.

God bless you more, Peter Obi.
How many universities did he establish as governor of Anambra State? What is the name of his private university?

Is JAMB written in only Abuja? The level of security you have in FCT, is it same in Borno or Ajegunle or Ore?

If it is safe to move around "Abuja" that early, is it safe every where else in the country?

This is the problem with Nigeria, so long as it doesn't affect you negatively, others can go to hell.

If you didn't experience it, then the other person is lying

Withing 25 years, number of Nigerias university has increased from 45 to over 220. Overwhelming majority of Nigerians have no direct connection with university education

WriterX:
You're embarrassing yourself badly, and I’ll explain with facts:

1. First, comparing students writing exams to families at an embassy chasing visas shows you completely miss the point.

Embassies operate on limited slots for international travel.

National exam bodies, like JAMB, control their own structure — they set the rules, allocate centers, schedule times.
CBT exams are organized by us, for us.
If Nigerian children suffer there, it’s pure wickedness and incompetence, not inevitability.

Nobody is forced to line up for hours in functional countries for an internal university exam.
Stop defending the indefensible.

2. Second, you still don't understand what progress is:

CBT and CCTV by themselves are tools.

Progress is not about importing technology; it's about human-centered system design.

India runs CBT for over 20 million students yearly (JEE Mains, NEET), but students are assigned staggered times, verified BEFORE exam day, and NO ONE stands outside for hours.

Your thinking is colonial:
"As long as it looks modern, it must be progress."
Rubbish.

If you install an ATM in a desert where people queue under the sun for days to withdraw cash — is that progress? No. That’s stupidity with computers.

3. Third, returning schools to missionaries IS recognized globally as best practice.

UNICEF, World Bank, and UNESCO reports advocate for public-private partnerships in education — including returning mismanaged schools to original owners who can run them efficiently, with government support.

Peter Obi’s model was even studied at policy summits in Nigeria.
(Source: UNICEF Nigeria Education Sector Analysis 2015.)

You think you’re mocking? You’re exposing your ignorance.

4. Fourth, dragging Theodore Orji into this is laughable.
Yes, Abia ranked well — because even accidental good outcomes can happen when states follow minimum standards.
But governance is more than exam results:

Obi left behind $500 million (cash and investment) for Anambra.

Theodore Orji left behind piles of unpaid salaries, debt, and decay.

Don’t compare a Ferrari to a danfo bus just because both move.

5. Fifth, you brought up local government elections to deflect because you lost the education argument.

Reality check:

99.99999% of Nigerian governors (across all parties) manipulate local elections.

JAMB problems, CBT mismanagement, and children fainting at centers are happening TODAY under the Federal Government — the people constitutionally in charge of education policy at that level.

Your obsession with Obi cannot wash off the criminal wickedness Nigerian children are facing RIGHT NOW.

Meanwhile on the front page : jamb candidate escapes ghastly accident.

[quote author=haybhi1 post=135151041]obviously, you lack knowledge on how things work, but I'll try to cure some of it.

1. I agree that they should have kept quiet because Obi has always shown his ignnorrance and slowness by talking before researching.
2. A. If you must study abroad as a Nigerian, it's absolutely impossible without a WAEC. B. Foreigners study here without JAMB too, just WAEC. They are littered in our universities. (P.S. you prolly didn't pass WAEC so bereft on the idea of its importance).
3. You're the only one not thinking, alonside your crass ignnorannce. Every country has its regulating bodies for examination and there are exams you must be in the country to do, e.g. USMLE III. One of the inefficacy or laxity in exam regulations is why you see UK lamenting of the frauud in Nursing exams on FP the other day.
4. JAMB might have been too difficult for you to pass because you sound far from a brillllliannt human, but it's definitely not frrauud. It's the only pre-university exam, indeed, in Nigeria that's not aduultterated. Na either your braaiin or luck. Unlike WAEC, JAMB has no special centres, so ollooddos like you have to study hard, lest you prefer to keep lamennting.
5. Nigeria isn't wastting youth. That's a liiee.
6. The best way to strengthen our pre-university education system must always include strengthening JAMB with more exam centres, so students don't have to travel too far.

So Paul, think and research before talking online, not everyone is as shortssighhted, man.[/quote

Obi is always hasty and desperate for attention. Often delving into matters with little knowledge about them.
What sort of knowledge do you need to know it's dangerous posting children far away from home to write jamb and recklessly criminal to ask them to start whatever clearance by 6:30am?

To you that needs Isaac Newton kind of thinking of mere common sense that's obviously lacking in jamb and now you...

It's now a reoccurring issue, and jamb seems not to care, maybe with incessant SM noise, jamb will amend their ways.
I remember taking my kid sis out around 4.30am in ijegun to meet up with 6.30am jamb schedule at festac side when this whole CBT stuff started then.
For those claiming PPT timing is similar, that's not true, PPT commences between 9 to 10am, you need not be there for any verification ahead of time, you also have a grace period of 30mins after exam might have commenced.
People only leave early because they want to avoid hustling for mobility to centres due to crowd, some locate their centres that day also.

Always exercise your 0.2kb worth of brainn na... every exam needs you to be present sometime before it starts. I know your lack of intelligence would want to suggest they start by 12 forgetting the myriad of factors that make that uneasy—for instance, those who have to travel long distance. Besides, most major exams in the world are done in the morning and requires your presence before the exam.

You probably never wrote any professional exam your whole life though, so I won't really blame you.
Must you defend everything? Why not post candidates to the center they wished to write their exams? Why posting them to another local government? Since this exam is not scheduled for one day, why not make the accreditation time to be 7:30 and exams 9 am. They are writing for just 1hr:45 minutes. Stop defending mistakes made by institutions or government.
What did you mean that major exams all over world starts by 8 am? Is that what your research told you? Mr. Every professional exam begins by 9:30 am. Jamb is not a professional exam too. They should adjust their modus operandi.

Just trying to understand the epistle you wrote. Are you aware some children left home about 4am? Is this the first JAMB that have been written in the nation, even in the new CBT format?

I'm not a politician, but, I love disruptive thinking and comparative analysis. This is what drew my attention to Obi the first time. If it's possible somewhere with more population, it is possible here too.

Everything from FG shouldn't be defended, on the JAMB timing, JAMB failed woefully. The timing was out of it. I have two close persons who left for JAMB 4am. Can you imagine! And you want these kids to settle down to write an exam by 8am, teens for that matter!

That is school not an examination that you need to travel some kilometers before you get to examination centre.
Why not do all the verifications online.
Why don't they create more examination centre that is close to the student environment.
They don't want to spend money by employing more hands but they are ready to steal more money.

Is it CBT? My brother they can do better. I want to ask what stops them not to have enough centers? What stop them not to employ more hands.
When I wrote jamb the numbers of candidates was not much like what we are having now and the environment was very safe compare to what we are having today.

Do u want to tell me that jamb body do not have enough money to create more centers or to employ more hands for one day exercise?

Look at health center. When it is time to give polio vaccine they will employ more hands trained them and send them to different communities and they will do job the successfully

I still want to ask, what stops jamb not to create more centers since they know that they have more candidates every year?

Or why do they not collaborate with these students choice of their universities and allow them to go there and sit for their exams.

When there is money u can make proper arrangements for anything.

Don't just support these people because u feel it is APC or Tinubu regime or it is Obi that said it.

If we all can drop our political differences or do away with ethnic bias u will see that many things in this country will be perfectly done.

Building a school and jamb not to have enough centers is not adding up.

Talking about building a school by Obi, did renovates the dilapidated schools he made on ground?

The primary thing any instructions suppose to do is to think about the safety of the applicants.

For Obi to call them is a good thing believe u me next jamb sitting the body will thing of the safety of their candidate.

Whether he build a school or not Obi has said something which of beneficial to a common man.

U said he should have build schools when there are a lot of dilapidated schools around the state where is that maintenance culture in us.

I will say this, forget the messenger but take the message and weigh it if the value of it worth u take if it doesn't u can trash it.

This is NOT a blind argument sir. The slip DOES NOT say that Exams start by 6:30am.

What the slip implies is that the center is open by 6:30 am. THERE IS NOWHERE IN THE COUNTRY WHERE the EXAMS STARTED BY 6:30am. If u have proof to counter this, PLEASE indicate with the Name of the center, it's Contact, Address and (if possible) the name of the owner of the center. You may also approach and JAMB office in your state to report this. The BOARD will take immediate ACTION. Thank you.
