The footwork of our Number 13, Divine Oliseh is magical to watch. He is a real talent no doubt.

30 mins played so far, still goalless but the Lads are stringing passes and looking confident ball-wise.

Emmanuel Chukwu (CB) is so assured in possession and strong in the tackles and duels.

The Tunisians doubling up on Amole on the right wing whenever he has the ball.

Clinton Jephta is such a huge outlet on the counter. He started a dangerous move but was wrestled down by a Tunisian defender.

Goal ball!!!! Auwal Ibrahim!!!

That number 3 is so intelligent. Chisos!! We have a LB with a pausa!!

His intelligent play to delay play and find the movement of the running Auwal was top notch play.
Such a lovely assist from Odinaka Okoro.

Now I can see part of why Aliyu picked him ahead of Rangers' LB who featured at the Wafu B.

PS: The Rangers LB is Kenneth Igboke

A little scare there as the VAR was checked to ensure Jephta didn't give away a strong penalty call for Tunisia. Corner taken and dealt with but we concede another corner.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:51pm On May 01, 2025
Harcourt confidently and assuredly punches the resulting corner away.

HT. Nigeria U20 1-0 Tunisia U20.

My problem is they are too assured on the ball… bordering on arrogance.

Genuine Question:

Let's just say Victor holds firm and European clubs refuse to yield to his salary demands? What's next? Does he give up on Europe?
Make he give up abeg. His qualities cannot be denied. But dem go yield.

I see your point. We had 1 major moment in that half where the Tunisians almost took advantage of our "ball clinging" but Harcourt came to our rescue. We grew into a more assured passing game after that lapse.

If Harcourt is good, it's best we catch him young for Super Eagles

9ja mid field is lacking no ball holder
The only person I picked out is that #3 who set up the goal and I noticed our boys averagely are shorter than the Tuns going high balls is a no they need the ball on the ground
Overall first half was very average hope the coach can see the loopholes and plug them
Wish them the best
