In surrogacy. The eggs or sperm can come from an intending parents or a donor.
But after fertilisation, another woman different from the intending parent will be implanted with the fertilised egg.

That's IVF. However, if another woman donates her egg, that's surrogacy. I'm tired of repeating myself.

Let me explain it to you in it's most basic form: The husband's sperm is taken from him, the wife's egg is taken from her, they are joined together through a process called in vitro fertilization in the lab, and then this is inserted into the surrogate's (a consenting, well paid adult female) womb.

Now tell me, does this look like the process you just described above?

Finally don’t compare ordinary women to Oprah, she can afford to buy attention to compensate for the lack of children. She will have people around her till the day she dies. Most single and childless women will die alone sometimes for days without anyone knowing they died. It happens a lot in the west. If you want to know what is coming in future from adopting western practices like childless unmarried women or single mothers, just look at the countries that have had such practices before us.

Finally finally, Oprah had deep emotional scars from her childhood. It wasn’t a lifestyle choice for her.

Your problem is semantics. Generally they refer to it as surrogacy but there's a difference. The daughter in question had her egg, only needed a vessel. Both her egg and the sperm of her husband would be inseminated into her mother, that's IVF. However, when another woman's egg is needed to birth a child that's proper surrogacy.
