I as a consumer of entertainment know that Hollywood is fast losing it to chinese and other Asian Pacific nations as far as entertainment is concerned.
Platforms like Netflix is projected in the near future to make most of it's gains from Asian Pacific and with the influx of cheaper streaming sites from china and India, America is on a long thing.

Netflix has about 300 million subscribers while tencrnt, IQIYI, jiostar are clocking 600 million from Asian Pacific where Netflix projects to make her gains from like 5 years coming. And these companies have their English platforms headquartered in America.
So they sell their products to the world from America extremely cheaper than America that will buy from them and sell to the world.
Hope you understand the breakdown before you start your condemnation.

I explained why I left Netflix like a month ago or so and others who love asian dramas are leaving in their numbers. We have joined these Asian Pacific platforms cos 1, they are more interactive. Like a forum.
2, they are fast. Netflix comes late to the table and takes like months to finish airing as far as deamas from these countries are concerned. Not ready to wait. They don't stream.
3, they are very cheap. I pay around 200 plus for Netflix yearly. With that, I subscribe for vip or standard pass for 4 streaming platforms and still get change. Every year, Netflix is adding more money for subscription.
4, Asian Pacific dramas and series are where the fun is now.
5, you can even watch their drams on youtube. Netflix won't do that.
So why will I need Netflix.

Prime is worst.
An amazon prime member but will not go for their movies or drama. Why should I rent a drama to watch. Dem dey ment?

I don't want to add that as it will overshadow my main point but yes, this too is among the reasons American movies are no longer gaining worldwide recognitions. Stopped watching them ages ago as they don't excite me. Even my kids don't watch them. It's so bad, actors like a whole Tom Cruise went to south Korea and join their reality show just to promote mission impossible and some other big shots in Hollywood. This started even before trump did his first term. A popular chinese drama in less than 5 months will stream billions in china, billions outside China. And I won't lie, I love their drama. They started promoting gay and the backlash was too much, the govt banned it. How will Hollywood sell LGBTQ drama and movie in china?

I will rather watch Thailand LGBTQ movie or drama than Hollywood. America will make you hate gay people. The orientation and waiting for public acceptance was too short and forceful. And they are still everybody's face like you must accept me or I will deal with you.

Save for the underlying theme hollyweird promotes , their production is top notch and some scripts are very imaginative and spell binding. We have to give them that, I won't include the American braggadio.
Asian movies are a bit realistic ,the dramas mostly reflect possible scenarios of real lives.
I am quite poor in watching movies,I love documentaries on history, crimes ,sports and military.

My daughter is hellbent on kdrama Korean drama series . The others are happy with telenovelas from Mexico and Latin America.

If they ever planned on coming into the country again, they shouldn't trust that deal. WIll probably put you on a permanent ban list if this offer isn't a ruse to send you to El Salvador first.

That being said, it's going to be a hott summer. I'm sure ICE is going to be at more events. And once Trump gets slapped down on all his illegal immigration actions he might get serious/smarter about doing it the legal way.

I'm sure a lot of people are considering just leaving.
