Well, I have known many Nigerian men who brought their nigerian wives to developed country. All of them have had marriages that lasted. NO divorce.

I even know one Igbo copule...family friends of my parents...the man even married the woman and trained her so to speak. They went to America, and their marriage dey gigdba...it's almost 30 years since they left self.

All this endless ranting, as if he’s blameless, when he’s the one who chose to abandon the marriage.
Did he stop for a moment to think about the pain he’d cause his children, about how his leaving tears their world apart? Now he’s upset, that she’s asking for child support—how else was she supposed to provide for their children?
It’s heartbreaking, the way he turns his back and then complains when life demands responsibility.
Additionally, he has the option to pursue joint custody if he wishes to spend more time with his children.

The court will never grant such a request unless there's evidence of mental insanity or violence towards the kids, not even violence towards the mother would ever warrant the court granting sole deicsion making to the mother.......Guy man calm down and hire your own lawyer, file your own petition seeking FULL CUSTODY......Let the world burn if it must and save evidence so that in the future the kids woulkd know you fought for them and didn't give up easily like a coward!

Why is he not contacting his own lawyers too? The woman can ask her lawyers to petition her desires, he also has a right to request the same thing. He should remember to use a good law firm and not some pro bono service.

the woman has already lawyered up. the man better get a lawyer and the nastier the better. all this rubbish the man is posting online can also be used against him - stalking, mental health, etc.

get a lawyer who understands the game. ensure all your documentation is correct. hopefully, the man has not been like your typicaly nigerian male who outsources the entire rearing of the children and running of the house to the mother - which would make a solid case for the wife.

For a woman, runaway before they kill you. Your happiness matters.
For a man, stay and die, after all your kids and wife will feel bad when you abandon the marriage. Hypocrisy at it's peak; very shameful the way some of you lots reason.

His problem is the wickedness of trying to be the "sole decision maker" of the children they had together, an "intentional" wickedness!!.

I saw the post on Facebook. I think women are same worldwide and the only reason the ones in Nigeria appear normal is because of extant laws; traditional & secular. The day we in Africa get to that point where women think they are in FREE in feminist terms, expect men to start dropping like flies. Gradually the boy child is becoming an endangered sex.

Our Nigerian women so exploited the loopholes in the UK system that even the police started to advice them against reporting their husbands.

The lady is a Nigerian not white woman. An Igbo lady for that matter.

Igbo ladies should do better. 90% of this type of issues arising from Nigerians based in diaspora are mostly Igbo women. They are always known for this types of news. Chasing their men from their homes.

she can refuse that as both of them are not resident in nigeria and the marriage must have been registered in there current place of resident. There was no prenup contract that sated that divorce would be adjudicated in nigeria and under nigeria laws and even there was such contract that would be up to the judge to accept it or discard it and if the girls lawyers says she was not in the right frame of mind when she signed it or the outcomes would unduly be a disvantange to her or they are both resident in the country. since both have been leaving together even if they are not legally married the court would treath them like they were married
