Good one. Vision is needed. Nigeria is not like Ghana with 25 million people, whose power issue can be solved with 1 or 2 power plants. By 2045 Nigeria, currently at 250 million people, will be over 400 million in population, so we need a comprehensive plan to power the entire nation. |

All the trillions these electricity people are billing, you mean they did not reinvest 1 naira into improving their infrastructure and increasing the electricity available? I thought FG owned a percentage and privatizing means FG will not have to invest this much in electricity? Over 100 billion dollars is more than our current external debt. I think FG need to first meet with these private companies and have expectations of them. Seem some people are just collecting money and patching the infrastructure they met there. Don’t wait until everything collapse and they start faking surprise. Demand with what ever little ownership that they have expectations and are consistently audited. |

For those of us that knew vision 2020, don't believe these lies. Electricity is not rocket science just like our famous power minister said it. If Tinubu four years can't fix electricity to a 70% efficiency then this government is a failure. Any government that want you to believe it will take years to fix electricity but embark on project like coastal highway way and other funny project is already a failure. They're just trying to enrich themselves and contractors. All sensible government will try to fix light. For over 60 years of Nigeria existence your government want you to believe by 2045 you will have constant light, they should have said that during the campaign. If this government do not fix electricity then they should be massively voted out |

Also long as government is directly involved nothing will work. The government needs to totally withdraw from the power sector and confine it's role to regulatory affairs. |

I always think like an investor.. To get 24 hours electricity per day... Would cost 100 dollars a month average unless subsided by the government Nigeria GDP per capita is 880 dollars... So the average earnings in nigeria can only give 9 months electricity bill payments Why exactly would I as an investor invest billions in such an economy please Even if you say 50 dollars per month that's half of the average Nigerians earnings per year on electricity So it's obviously the Nigerian potential market for constant electricity is less than 5% of the population and majority of them already have 24/7 electricity via estate they live in... The rest are scattered in an unviable distribution |

Mr President NNPCL must be probed, billions of dollars spent in the moribund refineries should be investigated and culprits unraveled, their assets seized and jailed. |

Why is no president or politician thinking of building another kanji dam altogether Obviously Nigeria needs at least 5 to 10 of kanji dam but our leaders are just looking for small and less than enough alternatives |

Billions waiting to be looted. My oga Tinubu, I see you and what you're doing sir. Well done o The last was $16Billion, This one na $122 Billion. Ile to kun, enu to fe. People wey wan chop money don plenty. Electricity is a major dark hole for gulping money by politicians in this country. At the end, nah story dem go give us on how the people needed to build their personal generating station and transmission lines instead of leaving it to the government. Government of nothingness |

bjdon:Exactly. All these so called billions wont work. They should hands off completely. Not the current sakamanje one they said they did. Wè dont want to see their faces in power again. With government still there like the above,wè wont have stable power anytime soon. |

"if I don't give you electricity, don't vote for me in 2027." ...Tinubu in 2023. Desperation with another $120 billion public funds to be either wasted or squandered in the next two years. How much did Raji Fashola put into supply of electricity? Fashola is Tinubu's political ideologue behind the scenes. |

Government of propaganda. Tinubu 'unveils' plan and that is news. Very soon we'll be hearing news about Tulumbu's drug-ravaged thoughts, numerous nightmares and hallucinations. APC e-rats on overdrive since the days of the long-necked Mistake of Daura. Nonsense and rubbish. |
